About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It runs and drives, but only on 3 cylinders. I just seems kind of sad.
“1957 willys jeep with myers plow, not power angle. Koenig hard top. Decent condition, does have some holes in body and floor boards on driver and passenger floor. Only running on three cylinders, needs some restoration to make road worthy. Stars right up. under neath was all greased at one time. Tires are retreads with good tread. Too many projects, have to get rid of some. Taking offers.”

“This Jeep Willys Overland MB 1946 was purchased from an Italian Army Surplus Sale during the sixties, subsequently the car was restored for my late Mother by Carrozzeria Pavesi Rolls Royce and Bentley, Milano, Italy. The restoration was focused on making a glamorous car with all original parts, just the roof and side panels are a work of art…. The dashboard was fitted with a wood panel to increase the good look and the original plates where fitted to the glove compartment box door instead of the engine compartment. The car is fitted with a Webasto gas heather for cold climates. The car was stationed in St. Tropez, France for many years and then was sent to the Swiss Alps in St. Moritz where it stayed until I imported it into the US in 2003. It is a great car, all systems works very good, steering, brakes, engine, etc… it would make a great addition to a Summer/Winter Home, it is great on snow, beats any modern car…. The attention to details in this car is fabulous.”
Ran when garaged. Looks like it might be solid. I wouldn’t call this a sacrificial price though.
“1947 WILLY’S JEEP 6 CYLINDER GOOD CONDITION WAS GOING TO RESTORE BUT MUST SACRIFICE THIS JEEP IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR AS OLD AS IT IS. WAS RUNNING FINE WHEN GARAGED SEVERAL YEARS AGO.”
(08/18/2012) I just can reconcile the “solid body” comment with the rust I see along the driver’s side entrance. Maybe it is just peeling paint??

The seller isn’t asking much. LRDG folks might like this unusual cover.
“This vintage issue of the IPMS Quarterly includes articles on Robin Olds F-4 Phantom, P-51 Mustang, Major George Preddy, and WWII Jeeps, among others. There is the remains of a crease down the middle of the magazine where it had feen folded in half at some point. I has been kept flat for many years since, and the crease is barely noticable now. This item is from my father’s collection. I have no other information about it.”
“Great looking ORIGINALS, NOT COPIES, NOT REPRINTS, ads from a 1954 Christmas publication. These ads are over 58 years old and are excellent for framing.”
“This listing is for a used vintage Bandai Japan 1950’s – 1960’s Jeep FC-170 tin Friction toy stake truck in very good condition. Jeep produced the FC-170 from 1957 to 1964 / 1965 and I would expect this toy was also produced somewhere in that time period. It has 2 small dents in the cab roof which are visible in certain lighting conditions but not very noticeable otherwise. It is about 7 1/2 inches long by about 3 1/4 inches high at the top of the cab. It has a front wheel drive working friction motor. The paint finish is very good. I don’t see anything broken or missing and no rust. I don’t see any cracks in the plastic windshield. Looks like a bit of dust in the interior section. It has an opening rear gate and is overall a very nice example of a hard to find Jeep toy. I do not have the original box.
This came from an estate sale which featured 1950’s / 1960’s toys. I don’t know it’s entire history ( smoking, pets, etc.) and it is offered as is being a 50 year old used toy.”
“I have a right hand drive military jeep. it runs and drives great. with a little work someone could make it a very nice jeep. I believe it was built to leave the country but never left . I am constantly asked if it was a mail jeep and the answer is no. the frame is solid all the way through. the body is in really good shape. if you know jeeps and look at this one you will see that . The tail lights and turn signals need work. it needs a windshield glass. the fourwheel drive works great. i think it has 4.10 gears. it is a 3 speed. It has a 258 straight 6. any other questions let me know. This is a pick up item only. Thanks for looking! God bless”
