Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It runs and doesn’t have too much rust.
“1958 Jeep Willys Sedan Delivery – Chevy straight six cyl original 3 speed. 4 wheel drive and it works great! New brake lines, new gas lines, new gas tank. Very little body rust. Runs and drives but could use a new carb. Has new plugs and wires etc.”

This needs some work. It doesn’t run.
“cj2a original body frame trans tcase axles. 12 volt electrical. modern seats roll cage engine rebuilt with crank lathe turned. runs, needs something fixed in the timing, does not want to stay running.”

Both tubs need sheet metal work. (Patch panels are included)

One good set of fenders
One manual transmission

2 rust free windshield frames (one with good glass and wiper motor assembly)

One set of wheels and tires (nice vintage alloys with 33″ mud tires)”

“Two 1948 Willys Jeep projects. Enough to make one complete Jeep with lots of spare parts. Motor and drive train in one Jeep, no motor or tranny in the other. Original Sears metal top coversion on one also. Price firm. No titles. Take all or none, as is, this is the way I bought them for alot more. Will take a 8 x 20 flat bed over tires trailer, duel axle, do not need a heavy duty type trailer.”

Searching for vintage Valentine Cards on eBay, I stumbled across this one that cracked me up. It’s not a jeep, but it seems appropriate for my wife (a former weapons specialist). It’s probably a better one than the card I got her (which I kind of got myself, since it will go back into my folders . . .lol . . . don’t worry, I’ll make it up to her).
Ted Jordan shared this cute photo of his girls on his 3B plow jeep. I bet those jeeps have been busy this year! The second photo shows a truck trapped by the snow.

This is the third stretched jeep I’ve seen for sale in the Spokane area in the last few years. It is possibly a CJ-2L.
“I think its a 1944 willys jeep has the original flathead 4 cylinder four wheel drive works. was used to plow the driveway has a back blade. Hasn’t been ran since last winter should run, the frame has been broke by the front leaf springs.”
This appears in good shape.
“I have a 1960 split-window Willys JEEP pickup truck for sale or trade It is 4WD It has a rebuit Buick v6 brand new
white wall tires and a spare rim and tire also brand new… This truck has a custom diamond plate bed and the frame has been fully winter coated black so it can’t rust it has a ok interior and fading blue metallic paint with chrome rims. A Awfully rare truck for the price. Last year for the split window as it is a early 1960 truck later ones have a single piece window. every thing works fine the 4WD … even the heater works. may need new front springs but that’s it this truck is ready!”
