This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It doesn’t run at the moment, but it looks solid.
“For sale is a 1975 US mail jeep in great shape. The jeep was bought at an auction and was in perfect running order. However it has been sitting for about 10 years and I do not know if it runs now. It only has one seat and all controls are on the right side of vehicle. The tires that are on it now are flat but haven’t tried putting air in them. Its been kept inside a barn since it was bought. Give me a call if you have any questions.”

“Up for sale is a 1949 willys. The motor is a good running 225 buick v6 but will need a water pump as the existing one leaks. The drivetrain including the trans, transfer, and diffs are original. The body is in fair shape for the age, showing some rust in the usual areas but easily fixable. Fenders are solid, having some filler but no rust what so ever just rough bodywork. Has new starter installed and many other brand new parts as well as used that come with it. It’s a good base for a project but I decided to go with a Landcruiser instead. Flat head 135 4 cylinder engine with ONLY 33,000 miles, 3 speed manual transmission, 4×4, very good tires and spare tire, roll bars, 2 rear mounted additional fuel tanks, front tow bar, rear tow hitch, NEW interstate battery and clutch, REBUILT transmission, transfer case and steering box. On a 12 volt system, has windshield wipers.”
