About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1959 Jeep Willy, army green, 69,658 original miles. New gas lines, new tank….Many extra parts — engine, doors, tires, gas tank, extra set of tires Must see to appreciate.”
At first I thought this was a LEVI top, but on closer reading I discovered the color is Levi Tan.
“Paradise Jeep brings you another RARE find: This is a NOS (new old stock) soft top for a Jeep CJ-5 (1976-1983) made by Bestop (this model is called the “Royal Craftsman”, and was Bestop’s best offering at the time). It was branded as a luxury top, with many thoughtful quality touches not found on the basic entry level soft tops. The color is Levi Tan. It is MINT- except for the one small mouse hole in the roof of the soft top as seen. Easily fixed with a patch. If you need one, I will include a piece of matching genuine Levi material for you to use as a patch if you wish. This is in excellent/perfect condition with the exception of that one blemish. Shipping to be $30. Good luck and Happy Jeeping! Please see my other NOS Jeep items listed!”
UPDATE: The Craiglist Ad expired. The jeep is probably still available.
This has a VEC body, but appears to have or been converted to a floor shifter.
“1946 Jeep Willy. Has been sitting in yard. Used to run, but doesn’t now. Needs work. Always planned on fixing it up, but never got around to it. Great project or just use the parts.”
This appears solid. Is that part of a plow attachment under the frame near the rear part of the driver’s side spring pivot?
“1947 Jeep Willys CJ2A: Flat head four cylinder with complete off the frame restoration. Frame and body completely sanded, primed, and painted. Rebuilt original engine with less than 25 miles on it. Original engine and transmission. 4 wheel drive high and low gears. 12 volt, new alternator, battery, wiring, light, exhaust, brakes, gauges, tires, and matching extra gas tank. Engine runs great, lots more invested than asking. $8,000 or best offer. ”
“wanted to to trade 1948 willys cj2a for gas golf cart, 4×4 atv. bought jeep 6 years ago, does turn over and run. def. project car. carb in pieces, have new fuel tank. extra tires and rims. seats are from newer jeep. dont have time to restore. would make a nice ride if you have the time. frame is solid!”
This has a single shifting transfer case. I’d climbing under this to check and see if they put a Dana 20 and, if so, is the driveshaft angling back to a passenger side pumpkin. Also, no title.
“1946 Willys. No Title. Tub has been rhino lined inside and out. Has 225 Buick V6 motor. Heddman headers. Has power steering. Heater. New gauges, 2 gas tanks, Best top brand soft top. Super Swamper tires. In good shape. 435-545-2111 house or 435-401-0088 cell. Thanks”
The front frame rails have been customized. The drain holes are missing. It’s listed as a CJ-5.
“This is a great deal. New Tires, New paint, rack on the back, great for wheeling, New soft top and New seats. This whillys is in great condition. call if you have any questions. This is a must see! Motor is rewired to 12v.”
This has a rebuilt drive train. At least some of the floor boards have been patched, as well as the steps and drain hole areas.
“This is a 1948 CJ2A all original Willys, except for tires, wheels and seats. I have the original frames for the front seats but will have to be reupholstered. Engine, transmission, transfer case, and rear end rebuilt late last winter. Power steering was also added at that time. All gauges work except speedometer. Jeeps runs and drives excellent. Clear Idaho title..”
(05/23/2012) “1950 Willys 1950 4×4 Jeep …. Lost interest….Trade value of $1500 for quad, pontoon trailer, or other old car or rat rod project. $1,000 cash otherwise. It has been under a tarp for the last 3 years, (has not been started).
Will trade for another car project, no lap tops or snowmobiles please.
The auction for this has expired, however this is still an interesting vehicle that made the cover of the 1976 Four Wheeler Magazine. Looks like it is part jeep and part truck.
