About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Thanks to John for finding the full version of this movie short from 1949 called “Fuelin Around“, the 116th movie short they made. The CJ-2A appears in both part 1 and part 2.
“Original drawing blueprint for a 1956 Willys Motors safety strap. This drawing belonged to my grandfather and has been stored for many years, laid flat. Very good condition. Would look great framed for the Willys fan.
A “B” sized blueprint is the smaller print. A “C” sized blueprint is the large prints you’re used to seeing.
Any questions, please feel free to ask.
I do not ship outside the USA.
Payment due at close of auction.”

“I’m selling my 1958 Jeep Willys Wagon. I have put so much into this Jeep, I think it’s one of the better buy’s for this price to be found. This Jeep is NOT 100% restored, but I drive this Jeep just about everyday. I am at a point where I need to start putting my money into my “new” house. I bought this Jeep for $2,000 as a rust bucket in 2010 (rust free jeep now, as I have cut out all rust and welded in new metal parts). I have put over $15,000 into this Jeep since then and am only looking to get half my money back. If you have any questions please email me. If you live around St. Louis, MO come take a look/drive. If you live far away, I can pick you up from the airport if you like. I would never buy a car without driving/looking at it first. However, if you’re not able to make the trip and still want it, please asking me anything and I’ll do my best to answer. I have a lot more parts into this but have only listed a few that total $7,128.76, plus the $2,000 I paid for the Jeep to illustrate the value of my asking price. Remember, if you did this yourself… you would have to install all the parts (transmission, L-226) or pay to have someone do the work for you…the prices listed are just the prices for the parts. I have been to three Jeep willys salvage yards (Montana, Vermont, New York) to find most of the parts. This has been a three year, round the country search to make this Jeep what it is today. Happy Bidding.

“This 1955 Willys is a rare find. This CJ3B is in excellent condition. It has been restored from the ground up. It has been used in parades, serviced annually and has been kept in climate controlled garage. This Willys has the high top hood with the Hurricane flat top motor. This Willys has documentation and clear title. Runs great and fun to drive!”
It hasn’t run since 1978 and it is a bit Frankenstinien given the later bed. However, it does have a dual PTO, which I didn’t expect to see.
“I have a 1956 jeep Willies truck it has 283 motor non running, it hasnt been running since 1978. it has a nice wench on it. pretty straight body. $ 2000.00 O.B.O or trades welcome.”
It would be hard to violate this if you wanted to do something custom.
“Finally getting rid of my Jeep, “Willy”. I’ll probably regret this, but I’m fed up with it. More on that.
I’ve owned the Jeep 5 years as a farm vehicle; in those 4 years, I’ve put less than 3000 miles on it. The flatbed came about as a result of a rusted out body tub and my need to keep using it. It was installed winter 2012-13. Works great.
