About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a fiberglass Jeep tub for a CJ5. Very solid and usable. I also have a pair of metal fenders and a metal hood that can go with the tub for no additional charge if the buyer wants them.
I am asking $700 for the tub.
For more information, call Ralph at 517.582.1104”

Actually, for $300 there might be some good value if the engine spins.
“I have a 1947 CJ2A willys jeep it has original motor, tranny, axles, and radator. I was building it for a mudd buggy but dont have the time to finish it.”
UPDATE: The seller will start taking bids with the minimum bid being $7500.
“1957 Jeep FC 150. Foreward cab, 4 wheel drive pick up with low and high speed T90 transmission. 12 forward gears. Engine is 4 cylinder flathead and has not been started and is not stuck.
Bucket seats and original carpet. needs to be re-upholstered. Cab has small rust spots on rain gutter and windshields but no sign of rusted thru. A magnet did not reveal any bondo patches in body.
A Ramsey 10,000 lb PTO winch is mounted on the front with tow bar.
Speedometer reads 358 miles, apparently is 100,358. Seller has good title.
Tires hold air but are 20 years old. Paint is 20 years old but buffs up good except on rust spots. An installation of an after market over drive will allow legal highway speeds.”

(11/04/2011) It’s called a Jonco. I has a bobcat fiberglass hood. The desert scene on the back looks familiar, but I can’t quite place where I’ve seen it.
“Its named the Jonco, because its a 47 CJ3A on a 73 Bronco frame running
gear/frame, but has extended leaf springs both front and rear, 11″ brakes, 3.92 gear ratio, ford 9″ 4spider posi, lakewood scatter shield
over the clutch on the 3spd manual 289 ford big cam 4bbl Edelbrock torker
Full rollbar, 8k Warn winch, towbar, brake line lock.
It now has brand new, wheel cylinders, lines, brakes, drums, master cylinder.
We drained the fuel tank and installed new fuel line.
It was stored for years in a garage, the tires were rotted, we put on street tires to sell it. It used to have 12×15 large mud tires on the 10″ rims.
We have the clear title, this jeep used to race, its very strong, so its not for sale to any young drivers.”
Mark from sellajeep.com took a variety of pictures and a couple great videos from last month’s Great Willys Picnic. If you’ve never seen a working saw driven by a PTO, then check out his page:
“1950 Willy’s jeep , all original, flat head 4. The body is completely shot, and is unfixable, will need new tub. Has good grill, windshield, hood, drivetrain, and excellent frame. 900.00 OBO”
“1962 Willys Jeep with Plow,I think it has a leaky front wheel cylinder so the brakes will need attention.I did put in new brake lines and a new brake booster and master cylinder.Runs good.I do have clear registration.”
