About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This appears pretty stock. It will probably restore pretty nicely.
“Serial number is 35945. Odometer shows 36,262 miles and I am told that this is original mileage. Has been garaged for many years. All original. Clear title. Used to tool around the mountains of Southwestern Colorado. Good running condition. Four wheel drive works well in both high and low range. Since it has been in Colorado all its life, no rust problems. Has been repainted.
After it came out of storage, I had the following repairs done to it to return it to a safe driving condition;
all hoses and belts have been replaced
new distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires
front differential cover replaced
radiator flushed and new antifreeze added.
left rear brake drum rebuilt
new steering bell crank and drag link
new battery
Good tires, also has three other tires and wheels. Has two sets of doors with hardware. One set is original. Has the back cover. Comes with owners manual, mechanics manual and two boxes of extra parts. Has Warn locking hubs.
A true classic that has not been messed with or altered !”
(04/11/2012) This might make a nice stock build candidate.

I suspect that if you invest $37,500 worth of work and parts this might just be worth $38,500 by the time it is done.
“I have a 1960 FC 150 Jeep for sale. It is a jeep pickup that was produced in the late 50’s and 60’s. FC stands for Forward Control due to the cab being placed over the front wheels. It had a small pickup bed on the back originally. There are FC clubs and forums for these fun rare trucks and a lot of aftermarket parts are available. I also purchased an old military dump bed that is shaped a lot like the original bed and it will be included with the truck along with a 12 volt hydraulic pump. I haven’t done anything with this truck since I purchased it other than storing it and getting a title, so I don’t know the condition of the drivetrain. I didn’t get a front or rear driveshaft with it so I never tried to make it run. The frame is a regular cj type frame other than the weight bolted into the rear for stability so cj driveshafts would work. 4 wheel drive with lockout hubs and a 134 4 cylinder engine.”

This was restored. It looks very nice. I don’t remember those entry steps being stock though.
“For sale vintage 71 Jeep CJ6 with 49k original miles. Has been restored and is all original. This jeep is rare and in excellent condition, it has the original dauntless 232ci v6 with a 3-speed tranny.”
It’s been chopped, but runs and drives. Might make a good Tour FC replica . . .
“It runs and drives, missing the bed, doors, and I chopped off the rusted out cab cover. I have gone through the brakes and put a new clutch in it but the clutch it not releasing properly. Cool old truck but I have too much sitting around so it needs to go”
“I am selling my 65 CJ6 Jeep, it has a small block chevy, Warn OD, 4.88 gears. The SBC was saddle mounted, the frame was not hacked up for the swap. The interior is all original, has rear original jump seat. Tires are virtually new. Has some minor surface rust, tub is in great shape. Soft top has seen better days. Overall a very solid rig. Don $4,250. 208-732-6776”
