Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This in-person-auction takes place January 7, 2014, in Meredosia, IL. The truck may make a good restoration project. Looks like it has been stored quite a while.

“Willy’s-Jeep Gladiator 1963 2WD Pickup, $5100 OBO. First production year of the Gladiator. This pickup was refurbished in 2010 with new paint, interior, 350 engine, transmission and sound system. Runs and drives great but steering and brake system are original and need updating. This Jeep pickup is rare and very well kept. Perfect for Jeep lovers.”

These also usually have posi-traction inside the Dana 44.
“83 dj5 mail jeep. Runs and drives good. Has a 3″ lift, new mud grip tires. It is two wheel drive but does good in snow and ice. These jeeps come factory with Dana 44 rear ends. Has a 4 cyl. Motor and automatic. Have clean Texas title. Registered and inspected. Lots of fun.”
