Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “dont have alot of info on it but we bought it as a project and never got around to working on it. its been sitting in covered storage for the last ten years or so. the bed of it is filled with spare parts. i dont know what all is in there and have not gone through it. it has been converted to fit a V8. does not run. if you buy it for full price i will deliver it in the portland metro area for free.

“1950 WILLYS flatfender cj3a… I took this in on trade, supposedly the engine had been rebuilt recently, the engine is a f head (not a flat head) and is stuck… It’s complete.. Has the transfer case for front n rear pto, it has 4 shifters… Has a soft top with doors.. Diamond plate on rear corners and sides…New springs/lifted…. Don’t have time to finish it.. The guy I got it from had the body off and painted the frame, front n rear differential etc… This is a solid jeep… All trades considered, but I am partial to old chevy’s… Please, if your offering a trade, be serious.. $2500 cash”

“A very rare and early pair of WWII Military Burma Jeeps. These were purchased by my grandfather over 40 years ago, probably off of the local Navy base auctions. One has original flat head motor, other has a different looking motor. Would be great for parts or to restore. A rare old truck!”

“1946 Willys jeep with good tires and engine. Does not leak any fluids. Engine is a strong 4 cylinder willys jeep original with 12 volt conversion. Do not have a title but will give you a bill of sale. We have owned it for over 40 years. It will need three new brake cylinders. I have the split window frame, it is not in the picture $1500 cash or trade only. I would trade for decent 17 or 18in 2009 wrangler rims and tires. no scammers and no calls after 9PM. No help selling! Rims and tires must be the aluminum. No steel wheels.”

If you live in or are visiting the Philippines, you might consider dropping by the Sarao Jeepney Factory in Las Pinas, Philippines. Started by Leandro Sarao, the company has been building jeepneys since 1953. The factory is open to the public. There’s a short description about the place from the Trail of Asia travel blog.
Las Pinas is south of Manila. If you are north of Manila, you might check out M.D. Juan, which is in Caloocan City.
