About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(05/12/2012) This thing looks pretty solid, but that ‘paint job’ gives is a junk yard feel.
“This vehicle is in original condition except the electrial system is converted to 12 volt. It runs strong, is in really good shape, no rust , needs a paint job. I added the jeep cans and holders on the tail gate. I also added the Warn type hub lockouts, tires are probly 75% new.”

I’ve owned it for 13 years and Its been kept in the garage for the last 10 years.
It’s a fun Jeep with a lot of class. I selling it so I can buy a different toy…

“I have for sale a great running 1946 Willys with the original motor and good 4 wheel drive… she starts and does not smoke, body is fair, about 1/2 of it was done by a local body man and the rest by me when he got to busy to work on it, so most of it looks good… the jeep has two newly recovered seat worth 300.00 alone… things that need to be done are the brakes as the master cylinder is froze up, and lights need to be hooked up with tail lights..also the drivers side of the windshield is cracked and should be replaced….. The buyer can have choice of the wheels on the jeep or good chrome wide wheels… this jeep may also be on ebay for sale, I usually buy old jeeps and part them out for projects but this one is to good to do that to… the whole interior has been repaired and sprayed with the bedliner spray….it holds up good and looks good…920-856-65three nine”
“1951 Willys Jeep. / project. Currently has a V8 Chevy Power Plant . Engine is Bad. This is a Military issue willys jeep from 1951. I do not know any history on it. The jeep came to me in a trade deal . I don’t know any more info on it other than what you can see in the photos. I do have a clear title in hand. Best Offer / will consider trades
(Trades that I will consider: utility 4 wheelers / nice riding mower (John Deere would be nice) V8 Mustangs/ all convertable Mustangs must be drivable, road ready.)”
“For sale. Willys 1956 CJ3B this is cool Old Jeep. Needs TLC will run and drive but not road ready. Asking 3500.00 selling due to wife was diagnosed with cancer so my life has shifted gears. Lots of extra parts really a neat old girl.”
When you are bulleting past at 70 mph, it is one of those places where it is easy to say “we’ll stop next time”. Well, I’ve been saying that for more than six years. Ann has been saying it longer. So, when she says “it’s time to stop”, I took her request seriously. Well, almost seriously. I did give her one of those looks of, “do you really mean it or are you joking”. She returned the look of, “I am not joking”. It turns out she really meant it. I really didn’t mind as it was a beautiful day and we were in no particular hurry.
We pulled off the freeway, crossed the freeway over a bridge, and pulled up to the place where the teapot stop was supposed to be. Only, it was missing. Everything was there — pumps (can’t see them in the pic), a sign, a foundation — except for the teapot itself.
Confused, we both immediately reached for our phones and revved up our Googlers. Truth was, we were also racing to see who could learn the fate of the teapot first. We do that a lot. We are both competitive. In fact, it pains me to say it, but, yes, she won. The Android beat the iPhone. Maybe it was operator error?
Humbled by my defeat, we focused on the fate of the teapot building. We learned that just over a month ago, in March of 2012, the Teapot was moved to a new location closer to downtown Zillah, a town not much bigger than the teapot itself. Somehow, it had been hit by a car. We both suspect that probably alcohol had been involved . . . or just plain stupidity.
After taking shots of the non-existant teapot, we raced into town to get pictures of us and this unusual landmark.
It just goes to show that sometimes stopping ‘next time’ will be too late. Carpe Diem when you have the chance.
This is missing the steps and has some minor mods, but otherwise looks solid.
“Body and engine is in excellent shape, brand new paint job, new tires and windshield frame (needs glass). Completely rewired, new instruments, 12 volt, runs great. Please dont hesitate to ask any questions – will take $5000.00 or best offer.”
“Fiberglass tub. Original front sheet metal fenders and hood grille. Fiberglass tub never mounted, no holes. Orginial fenders. No additional holes and no filler. Very nice. Grille, willys hood. Hood straightened and filled. New paint, PPG Orange. Interior, under body, and under hood zolatoned. No windsheild frame, no other parts.
