This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/01/2012) This is a custom rig with a fiberglass body.
“1950 willys jeep (full custom) all fiberglass body and hood, full roll cage with custom chrome storage racks that come on and off real easy with push pins, 383 strocked small block chevy, 350 turbo auto transmisson, optima battery,chrome fenderwell headers, dana 60 rear end and dana 44 front end, 456 gears, posi front and rear, chevy power steering, front disc brakes, custom aluminum dash with S&W gauges, double shocks front and rear, centerline rims, 17 gal stainless steel fuel tank, too much to list, real attention getter, less than 8,000 miles since built.”
It’s rough, but may run.
“It looks like a cj2 but not sure of the model or year. The engine is complete and should run with some carb. work. The body is thrashed, a lot of damage and rust. It has been a ranch vehicle for many years.”

“Clean Title! Due to injury unable to restore this 47 Willys Jeep. In order to get it running it will need a battery and some brake work done, as well as new tires. Could use some TLC on the seats for comfort. Would make a great project for a dad and son/daughter. Frame is in excellent shape and will include the tow bar attached to the front of jeep. It looks like this might never have been used, but it has been cut in the rear. This is a very light type of fiberglass body.
