About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This has various mods, including changes to the steps.

“This is a 1948 Willys CJ-2A Jeep just in off of Ranch duty in Texas. This Jeep as been used on a Ranch for the last 13 years- It has been used but not abused, still runs and drives- 12 volt Electrical system- Engine Starts good first time- Head Lights work- Has good brakes- 4 wheel drive shifts and works good- Has a brand new battery-Tires are 16X6.00 NDT Military with lots of tread left- Seats are good- Passenger seat is not original- Gauges all work except Gas and Speedometer is missing- Body has seen better days, Rusty but not a total loss- Floor boards are not rusted through, but rusty in the usual places- Pictures should tell the story-This would be a great restoration project, or buy it for your Ranch or Hunting vehicle- You can load it or tow it home it comes with a tow bar- I have a clear transferable Texas Title in hand- Sold as is-”

The seller is willing to trade the top for some CJ-2A Parts.
“This is a Beachwood canvas military style soft top.it is in like new condition and I have all of the hardware. I believe this was a custom ordered item to work on a cj2a.i also have a cover for the complete jeep for when this top is installed. This is a very nice set up and the cover has never been used.i would consider trades for some other 2a parts that I need or maybe a full or half cab hard top.guns or cash 301 991 348seven”

(01/02/2011) Lots of nice updates to this flattie. Note the unusual rollbar addition that extends over the rear and is attached via a triangle to the middle cage loop.

“Historic – only the second year the civilian model was made. I used it at a hunting lease for 5 years. A great project – plenty of parts available online. The data plate on the firewall says it is a CJ 2A production #49534 or 84. Multiple mechanics have told me that the frame is in good shape. It does not run currently. I have owned it for over 15 years and it was left at a ranch, but now is on the west side of Houston. There is no title for it. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for transport. It is being sold as-is.”
