About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(01/23/2012) This looks like a good price. It is still 6 volt.
“This is a very fun and reliable toy. 4 cylinder motor, was government owned for most of it’s life so it was well maintained. Has some rust but not much. 6 volt system all works. i have parts for a full top and doors that need to be repaired. this is a lot cheaper than a rhino, terex or the other side by sides and you can drive it on the street too. License is current. it has had a lot of parts replaced, it is ready to use.”
I’d never heard of the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, located in McMinnville. However, Ann visited there a few years ago and says it’s a beautiful museum. Moreover, there is a B-52 there that they allowed her to go underneath so she could describe how they used to load and unload weapons. The Spruce Goose is also there.
Besides all the airplanes, the museum also has a jeep. This picture was taken by Joe Swallia on 2011. Note the hubs. They looks like early Warn hubs.
“This Jeep has a custom flatbed and Chevy 250 cu. in. motor. The frame has been professionally boxed in and powder coated. Also have 5 brand new wheels and tires.”
This appears solid, though the paint job is unusual.

The wood panels are 1/8″ sealed with outdoor varithane. It has custom dual roll bar. CB Antenna on top. Have added a 9000 Warn Winch and lights. Rear bumper with 2″ receiver. Rear light protectors. Just added oak side boards.
Interior: Converted to 12 volt system, Jeep Wrangler bucket seats, new heater, CB, tilt wheel, seat covers. Has newer version temp, oil press and voltage gauges, etc. Interior needs more finish work. This is a great rust free Willys Jeep Truck that can be driven daily and taken off road. These trucks are very rare and will go up in value. It gets lots of looks and thumbs up. After market parts are available if needed. Priced to sell. Very comfortable to drive and have relocated pedals as well. Have original seats that have been recovered nicely. Recently had certified mechanic go thru Willys and fix any leaks, replace seals, bearings and etc. Have extra paint and a few parts.”
It looks like there is some patching along the sides.
“3,500 OBO. 1946 Jeep Willy CJ-2A for sale. Runs great just needs some TLC. New rebuilt transmission, new tires. Recently rebuilt carb. Tow bar and lights included. Also included is a hard top that needs restoration. I really don’t want to sell it but need the garage space for new project. You can contact me via craigslist or via Phone at 602.703.9386.”
“WWII Willys MB Jeep. There are no data tags on the glove box; The tag on the frame is broken, but the remaining part shows MB 4235. The body number on the toe board is 207190. The jeep can be used for parts or restored (it will need a lot of work). It has four combat rims, two have issuse. The grill is welded to the fenders. The motor and transmission are not original. The motor looks to be a buyback as it has the oval pad for the serial number as the original motors do. it has no radiator. The driver’s seat will need some repair, but the passenger’s seat is great. The jeep is located in Billerica and we can assist in loading it on your trailer. $1300 or BO”
