Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: I might be wrong about the overdrive. On closer look, one of the knobs connects to a rod that disappears under the dash. Brian spotted that.

UPDATE: Was listed at $750. Sold.
Here’s an early trailer (based on the serial number).
“1942 Willys. Has several coats of paint and some rust, mostly complete. Floor has many small holes, otherwise appears solid. A tailgate has been cut, but it was “tastefully” done. Original data plate as far as I can tell. Plate and registered. See photos.”

“I have a 1962 willy’s with a 283 conversion and it runs. I changed all the fluids in the vehicle. I have also put a brand new gas tank and radiator in the jeep. It runs and drives. I also have the original motor but it does need to be gone through. If you have any questions feel free to ask”
This has an unusual paint job. I’m wondering if the black is covering something up.
