Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. DP spotted this unusual CJ-5 with a custom built popup camper.
“1974 Jeep CJ5 with a custom pop up camper shell built by Phoenix pop up in Denver.
The Jeep has recently been painted and is in very good condition, it has a 232 inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed manual transmission and locking front Warn hubs and it rides on 35″ tires. The chassis wiring has all been completely redone as well as the upholstery.
The camper shell sleeps 2, it has storage for all of your gear and is set up for propane and self contained water. If you are interested in the camper let me know and we can discuss a price.
This is a fun Mountain vehicle but could also be used for hunting.”

Guy spotted this rare Austin Gypsy, the older cousin of the Austin Champ.
“This is a 1962 Austin Gypsy jeep. This vehicle was partially restored in 2001 and is a good sold vehicle. Great for the beach and can be used in all weather”

Lots of good parts, but still needs a tranny and assembly.
“You are looking at a 1946 / 1955 Willy’s Jeep. The engine is a F-134. Chassis is cleaned, primed, and painted. New brakes and Master Cylinder. Transfer case has been rebuilt. This does need a transmission, but it does have a new clutch and throwout bearing. New metal body that comes with 2 hoods, and 2 front grills. Many small extra parts and hardware. $4,500 OBO.”

Top is sold separately. It looks like this has some full floating rear hubs.
“This is a 1947 cj2a. It is restorable. Has all original equipment. 4 cylender flathead engine. Doesnt run and sold with a bill of sale. I have a top (with doors) and oil bath filter that doesnt come with it but will be sold seprate. The top and doors are 500 and the filter is 50.”
