This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Ann’s aunt spotted this ad in a Wheeler Dealer Magazine at Walmart (yes, I have agents scouring everywhere . . .lol). The 56 miles seems hard to swallow . . . maybe 56 miles since the paint job?

“Willys Jeep CJ-My old 4×4 jeep needs a home with someone that has the time to keep her going. She needs a lot of work and tires and paint but was running when I last started her several years back.
This is the kinda project you can get going and take through the brush without worrying about scratches or dings…it ain’t pretty…it’s a ranch/hunting lease tool.
It’s a project…not something you can take and drive…you’ll have to do some work first. I don’t have the time to keep rebuilding the original carb with it’s leather accelerator pump diaphragm…a smart rebuilder would probably just put a newer carb on it. Needs brakes, seats(frames are there), tires, TLC.

At a minimum this is missing a windshield.
