About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Just a few updates tonight . . . I might be wrong, but looking at the slope of the driver’s entrance, it almost looks like a Willys MA curve. The frame and front clip appear MBish though. The photo was taken in the Santa Rita Hills of Southern California in May of 2008 by “ManDog”.
“1942 Ford GPW Military Jeep s/n 66717 Delivery date 9-21-42. Great candidate for a restoration project. Original frame, bodyand drivetrain are all there but will need attention.
Original grab handles, spare tire carrier, steering wheel, seat frames, headlight buckets and many of the small parts have been removed and are solid. They are F script.
In fact, Body, frame and engine block s/n all match dash plate. That is very rare! This will be it’s first rebuild. It was in the United Kingdom in 58 and was titled in Pennsylvania in 59. So it came back home and must of seen WWII action.
This is a survivor who needs to be saved. Breaking up the parts would be a shame. It’s had many coats of paint, exposure and a partial disassembly. And yes rust, but there is plenty to work with.
I’ve never had this Jeep running so operating condition is unknown but I’m sure its had quite a life. Don’t think this is a cream puff. She has seen some action and will need lot’s of attention.
This was one of the earlies Jeeps made from the Willys design and is almost 70 years old. Let’s keep this Veteran Rolling.
Local pick-up and cash talks. Thanks”

Please look at all the pictures, all I have for it is what you see in the pictures and nothing more. It does NOT have a title. It is rough and the body does have rust, it is sold as is where is.”
