About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(11/11/2012) Lots of stock jeep to work with here.
“A very nice restoration candidate. Excellent overall condition. Very strong and quiet running engine, no smoke, starts right away. Totally correct engine compartment with all the correct 24V electrics. Transmission and transfer case shift and operate smoothly, no excessive noise or leaks. Some minor dents in the body and fenders. The only rust is not the passenger floor and is shown in the photos. A small hole was cut in the right rear wheel well and can also be seen in the pictures. Totally correct interior and exterior. Original top bows, all the brackets. No top canvas included. All original early wheels. Tires are 40% or so. Original fuel tank too!
It was 36 degrees F when I took the pictures, so the exhaust you see is not smoke!
New parts recently added: all new brake lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, fuel lines, batteries, front bumper, rear bumperettes, clutch z tube and seal kit, complete exhaust system.
This jeep could be used as is. Runs, drives and stops. All you need to do is put a new wiring harness in and repaint it.”
(11/17/2012) Walter spotted this one. For $5000, this is worth a look.
“This is a really rare “big boy toy”. Professionally upgraded with a Chevrolet 350 V-8 engine and Turbo 350 automatic transmission. It also has Dana 60 running gears (front and back), and a fiberglass tilt front end. You’ll never see another one just like it. There are still some things that could be done to really make this a show winner… Unfortunetly though, I’m having to sacrifice for a more practical daily driver. I’ll trade for something nice, or sale for $4,000 obo.”
This seller would like to sell everything as a package.
“I have the following for sale: Willys truck with Ford V8, C4 automatic transmission and power steering. Wipers, light and heater all work. Has sunroof. Original axles. 4 wheel drive works great. Finish doing the cosmetic restoration or have a very cool ranch rig. This is the blue truck in the pictures below and is sold with title.
Another Willys truck with all original motor that spins freely and complete driveline (original 3 speed transmission and hi-lo transfer case. Needs a new bed but the rest is restorable. This is the red truck in the pictures below and is sold with title.
The green Willys wagon has no motor, transmission or transfer case. It is a rolling chassis with a fairly straight body that could be brought back or used as a parts rig. I have no title for this wagon so is sold on bill of sale only.
The brown sheet metal shown in the pictures include two good front fenders, grill with radiatior and transmission cooler, hood, passenger side door, ano also have several extra carbs, generators etc than can go with everything else.”
This still is 6 volt and has dual output PTO. It runs (though it needs a battery).
“This is for a 1953 Willys Wagon 4X4 Project.It has a 3spd 4 cyl engine with dual output PTO.It is 6 volt.
It was running but needs a new battery. The seats need reupolstered and drivers side wing window needs replaced. the motor is tired and needs a facelift. The 5 tires are like new. $1500.00”
“Willys classic 16 inch military-style rims. 16″x4.5″. No tires mounted. Extra rim and tire included. I was going to restore my ’67, but have decide to go another route when time and money permit. $200. Thanks for looking!”
The seller is listing this as a CJ-2A, but the body and fenders are military.
“Parting out this 1940s flat fender Willys CJ2. It has been in a fire so many of the parts are not useable, but many are just fine. Has original flathead engine. Please email for parts availability or make offer on whole jeep.”
