About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1961 Willys CJ3B Excellent running condition. Frame up restoration in spring 2006. New body installed turning the restoration. The mileage listed is not correct, the speedometer was changed durning the restoration. Has a F-Head 4 cyl. engine with a T-90 3 speed transmission. Has a Warn overdrive installed. Dana 44 rear axle and Dana 41 front axle. Both have 5.38:1 gear ratio. We are only the second owner of this Jeep, the orginal owner was Seabrook Farms. We will accept cash or certified check.”

Steve has this rear seat he pulled from his CJ-2A. After a little research, I *think* it is a CJ-5 Rear Seat.
“I sold my 48 CJ2A and now just have the rear seat to sell. Excelent shape. I dont think this is a factory type willys rear seat, but fits like it was. Has seatbelts attached 2 the frame of the seat. Downs IL. 309-357-603six aft 345pm m-f ”

UPDATE: Roy reports this is an excellent tub. SOLD
This looks quite repairable.
“Early 1950’s flatfender tub. Needs new floor and firewall. It’s either a CJ3A or an M38 – the dash has the single large gauge hole from the factory. ”
(05/13/2011) I don’t see much rust on the driver’s side.
“THIS IS A FLATBED TRUCK W/SIDES. IT HAS HIGH A LOW RANGE. IT RUNS BUT NEEDS SOME WORK. I AM ASKING $3000 WHICH I THINK IS A FAIR PRICE C ONCIDERING AGE & SHAPE, BUT WILL CONSIDER REASONABLE OFFER. PLEASE CALL STEVE @ 719-761-1945.”
(11/28/2011) This appears to be a custom M-38 with a Bobcat fiberglass hood.
“I bought this off of a car lot a year ago, but, haven’t really done anything with it. My wife won’t ride in it nor let my daughter, so, looking for something else more “Family Friendly”. Guess we just aren’t an old jeep family. I’m not sure the exact year because it was green tagged by the state patrol and assigned a new vin/title. It is titled as a 1978 homemade jeep. This is the way I bought it from Biddle Chevrolet’s used car lot.
It is a 1950-52 M38 Willys military jeep that has been rebuilt/modified over the years. The body is fairly solid with some rust bubbles. It was painted in Imron 15+ years ago. I have a box of receipts dating back to the ’70s. It has an F head 4cylinder with the stock 3 speed and transfer case as well as a Warn overdrive. Everything seems to work. Front seats, steering wheel, tires/wheels look to be new. Not hacked too badly like many jeeps I looked at before buying this one. Top in good shape, jeep just needs a good home and someone who likes to tinker, starter is temperamental (you will be too at 60 years old).
I’d like a quad, should be close to equivalent value (or cash with it) with a title.”
(11/29/2011) It looks like a nice militarized CJ-2A.
