About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Great little get-around Jeep….runs great, lots of new parts. All gears work, it has 4 sticks, one is a warn overdrive. The rig has a chevy 4 cylinder OHV engine (same engine put into mail jeeps 67-70). Time to move on to bigger and better things…. email for any questions, Thank you”
This looks good for the price. The tranny might need rebuilding.
“1948 Wills Jeep CJ-2A Commercial version. Sympathetic restoration, using as many original parts as possible, including both front fenders, hood, tailgate, chairs, instrumentation and wheels. Rust free floor. The good . . . great looking unit, painted in the factory original color of prairie green w/ powder coated 16″ yellow wheels mounted with Cooper military tires. Six volt electrical system retained. Rebuilt engine (300 miles). Rebuilt front axle. Fresh carb, water pump, generator, and starter. The bad . . . tranny makes noise. The Jeep is driveable, but this might be an area for the new owner to remember. The ugly . . . there is no ugly, it’s a Jeep! $5,500.00. Local delivery available.”
“Classic flat fender 1953 CJ3A Willys Jeep, been in our family for 30 years. Has been sitting in a shed for the past 20. It ran when it was last parked but hasn’t run for 20 years. Will need to be trailered away as the tires are rotted and there is no battery. In pretty good shape for a classic”
“This is a rare find. A 1948 Willys CJ2A with a Koenig Iron Works custom hard top. I’m told there were only 300 of this model made with this custom top. This Willys does not have an engine. I purchased this from a family that started the restoration process with new tires, wheels and lights.”
“This is a 1953 M38a-1. It has the original 4 cyinder engine and transmission. Lots of original parts. 24 volt system. Mileage unknown. The Jeep runs but it needs help, I wouldn’t consider it to be in road worthy condition right now but they could be some minor fixes. This is a great little jeep that has been sitting for far to long. It is time for it to have a new owner.”
“great jeep just dont need it anymore and need the money fast will not bargon or even try the jeep is in great shape the original body is rusted but it has all been patched the motor and everything is stock and runs better than the 4 i have seen i love this jeep ”
