About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I have a 1949 Willys CJ-3A for sale. This jeep is literally one of a kind, and you won’t find another one like it, especially on Oahu. It makes the perfect island vehicle. It runs fantastic, and has too many new parts to list. Breakdown is below.
1949 CJ-3A Body
1970 Buick Dauntless 225 3.8 V6
4BBL Edelbrock Performer Series Carb
4-Wheel Drive
Power steering (makes a great daily driver)
Tires and rims are brand new, less than 500 miles
Brakes have been upgraded to a ’70 CJ-5 10 inch brakes
Entire brake system overhauled, brake master cylinder, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders
Completely new electrical system, plugs, wires, every wire in it is brand new.
Exhaust system removed, overhauled, and repainted with new gaskets
New alternator
All the belts have been replaced
Herculined the entire inside of the jeep
Every bolt that has been replaced is stainless steel and the body was treated for rust
The entire engine was stripped and overhauled.
Safety and Registration are up to date, jeep is registered as a ’44 Ford GPW incorrectly (previous owner didnt know what he was doing) but it doesn’t hurt anything.
One of the coolest things about this jeep is the ability to fold the windshield down and ride. This thing will get up to 80 on the freeway easily. Power steering makes it easy to use as a daily driver.
Depending on if I sell it soon, Im planning on replacing the seats, entire suspension, and upgrading the intake manifold. These things will all make the price go up respectively.
Don’t bother contacting with low-balls. The price is 20. FIRM. The jeep is a classic, in fantastic condition. It is one of a kind literally. You’ll never see another one like it. No test drives without cash in hand or a cashiers check. You will also have to come to me to look at the jeep. I’m not driving all over the island for wheel kickers.”
Might be worth a look. Under all the dirt and grime there might be something there.

“Up for sale is a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. This is an awesome jeep, but it needs to go to someone who can drive it more. This jeep has many modern upgrades that has made it much easier and safer to drive, it has been converted to a 12V system, has had lap seatbelts installed, electric fuel pump, lockable front hubs, and a tilt steering column with power steering. It has a Carter YS single barrel carburetor that has just been rebuilt. It was restored approximately ten years ago by the previous owner and had the frame and body cleaned and painted top to bottom inside and out. The jeep has the original frame and body, with the engine and transmission being rebuilt approximately four years ago, also the original transfer case and axles all in great shape. Both differentials have had new fluid with in the last 50 miles.
The jeep runs and drives but upon start up the cooling system has a lot of pressure and prevents it from being driven for long distances. It ran and drove no problem when we stored it and after a year we got it back out replaced the fuel pump, head gasket, and had the carb rebuilt, but still has high pressure in the cooling system. In the photos you will notices aftermarket seats and tail lights, both can be converted back with minor fabrication. Included in the sale is a set of original seat frames (not pictured). Please email for additional information or pictures”

“1952 Willys M38, military version of the CJ3A. The Willys does not have an engine or transmission/transfer case in it. I do have the transfer case. It has stock axels at each end. Dana 44 offset rear and Dana 25 front. The spider gears are welded on the front axle. Have a spare rear Dana 44 that’s locked. It has Selectro hubs. It’s been re-wired with a Painless wiring harness. It’s got a Mile Marker 12000 pound hydraulic winch mounted on it. It has power steering and disc brakes up front. Although I believe it needs a new master cylinder. It’s been lifted 2.5 inches and has 33×10.5×15 super swampers on 15×10 black steel wheels. I have a soft top and doors for it that I believe were new when I bought the Willys years ago. I never put them on, can’t find the bows. Solid body and tub. The Willys has been outside and needs new seats and cleaned up. I do have an assortment of other parts that can be negotiated for (small bock chevy 350, 4.3 vortec, v6 headers, truck 4-spd, advance adapter, full width axles). If you want more pics I can email or text them.
$1250 obo. Possible trade or part trade for older motorcycle, Monte Carlo, el camino, things that go bang, I have enough for hunting would like something fun or to carry.”
