About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The seller is not sure what the model is, though the title say 1942. I’d say it is a CJ-3A.
“We do have a TITLE and a Notorized Bill Of Sale Only ))….NO KEYS……. I took this Jeep on trade and I had it running on starter fluid .. I have since lost the keys and interest in it…. ,, …. (10/27/2010) “Up for sale is my ’51 Willys M38. Think of it as a beefed up CJ3.
NADA Classic Car Price Guide (for the civilian version- the CJ3) lists low retail @ $4,489.
This vehicle runs and drives and I have a clear title.
Has a Ford “Pinto” 4 cylinder with good power but it needs a tuneup. Original transmission and 4X4components are in place and working and there are working manual front hubs.
THE GOOD:
– body (tub and fenders) and hat channels are very solid.
– frame is solid.
– windshield frame is original and solid but the glass is cracked.
– 4 new off road tires mounted on new wagon wheels.
– newish gas tank.
– newish muffler/tailpipe.
– brand new battery.
THE BAD:
– has a civilian CJ hood but it’s in good shape.
– hand painted
– brakes are very weak- probably needs cylinders and perhaps master cylinder rebuilt
I’ve decided to use my spare time for my boys not my toys. I don’t need to sell so PLEASE NO LOW BALL OFFERS. My price if fair.
This Jeep obviously came originally from somewhere that they don’t rust much.
Please no calls after 8PM. I will consider delivering within 50 miles of Baltimore.
“This is a 51 Willys Overland pickup. She runs well and would be excellent for restoration. It has the f134 motor in it and is mostly original parts. There are minor issues such as it needs a new wiring harness.and a good tune up to dial it in. There is some rust, but nothing real significant. It was given to me from my grandfather and I drove it from Spokane 10 years ago. It has been kept covered and dry. I have recently driven it around and she does fine. A video of it can be seen on youtube at 51willyspuyallup.give me a call to see it. Shawn 253 590 6146”
“Willys Jeep 1948. Original Condition with “Flat Head” four engine. Runs and drives. Needs restoration or use on Ranch, Farm or Cabin land as is. CASH ONLY in person! Contact for more information. Good title.”
“1948 Willys Jeep 4X4 with snow plow, metal cab, original motor runs good. Works well for moving snow on the acreage. $2200/offer for the package or $1500/offer without the plow.”
(08/04/2011) I admit the look is interesting, but …. sigh.

We arrived safely in Pasco, Wa, this evening, 6500 miles after beginning our journey. Thanks to everyone who shared time with us and we look forward to see those we didn’t get a chance to see on this trip (hopefully this summer). We will spend a few days here (At Ann’s Mom’s house) before heading up to Seattle to drop off the paintings. No updates tonight, but more tomorrow.
UPDATE: Bob from Ohio bought this. I can’t wait to hear more about it. Was listed at $1000.
Bob forwarded this to me via the CJ-2A Page. It’s an odd duck. I am thinking it it is a shortened Jeepster on a CJ frame.
“46 Ford Jeepster a one of a kid. Needs a lot of work but has a lot of potential. I bought the car 16 years ago and haven’t had the time or money to get it restored. It has some transmission problems and other minor problems, dead battery, etc. Has new tires. I need to sell it as soon as possible and the price is negotiable..”
Robin emailed me the other day asking how rare Willys trucks with tow packages are. Before answering her question, I did some searches to make sure my answer, which was yes, was correct. That’s when I came across these two pictures. One is a beautiful Willys Tow Truck and the other is entirely odd ball.
“We have tons of parts!!!!!! Military and civilian jeep parts. CJ2A and M38A1 parts. Let me know what you need and I probably have 3 or 4 of them. I even have the old metal hard tops for them. Call, text or email. 425 * 923 * 6935”
“You are bidding on a 1962 Willys/Jeep FC150 pickup bed with rear fenders and spacers. This bed does not include a tailgate. Please call at 727-804-6866 for specific questions or additional pictures. This bed is used and has several areas that need work, but is still very salvagable with a good sandblasting and priming and a little bit of sheet metal. Other 1962 body/cab parts are available, please call me for your needs.”
