This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I’m looking to sell my blue, 1948 Willy’s Jeep. Unfortunately I don’t know much about it as it was my dad’s project. I do know that it has the original engine in it, but does not run – I believe it was a fuel pump issue. The body is on it is good, one cracked plastic fender, but mostly straight otherwise. The leather on the seats is decent, but does show that it has been sitting for a while. It does have a tow bar on the front of it. Could be a really great vehicle”

(03/02/2013) This looks like a fun rig. The grille looks installed at a slight angle.
“1942 tub 1949 Willys frame and title. Chevy 5.7 fuel injected 350 engine. Yes around 300 horses for a 2400 pound jeep. It is fast. Has a ganny gear for climbing. Dyna 44 front and rear axles. custom fuel tank behind seats. Brand new cap, sparkplug wires, and spark plugs. Warn winch on front. Wired with tow setup. Power steering. Front disc brakes. Will do highway speeds. $7000OBO”

“Willys Military parts Jeep (M-38) with many extra parts. The M-38 has the original transmission and transfer case and an old 4 cylinder engine block. M 38 has a non running 289 engine.”

THIS JEEP IS A GOOD RUNNER. 4 CYCLENDER 3 SPEED WITH A HIGH / LOW 4 WHEEL DRIVE , CLEAR TITLE, EVERYTHING WORKS LIGHTS,WIPPERS, HORN ,TURN SIGNALS, HEATER. SHOULD PASS VEHICAL INSPECTION. LOCK OUT FRONT HUBS, TOP IN GOOD SHAPE, NEW BATTERY, BREAKS WERE REPLACED AWHILE BACK ,COULD USE NEW TIRES. WOULD BE GREAT ONE TO RESTORE OR JUST DRIVE IT LIKE IT IS. THESE OLD JEEPS WILL GO PLACES THE NEW ONE CAN’T.”

“I have a compleetly restored CJ2A Frame. The frame was sandblasted and repainted with HD Por 15 paint. It comes complete with motor, trans/transfer case, and many other things (listed below). This is super solid start to a great completed jeep. I have a clear title and many receipts for parts. Call or email for more detail.
All new brakes, lines, and master cylinder.
New steering wheel, shaft, bushings, and horn button
All new front steering suspension (ball joints, bushings, etc.)
Engine is not rebuilt but ran perfect and has great compression, and is all resealed and detailed.
Transmission is rebuilt and resealed.
Includes complete power take-off system
Radiator is new
Also includes:
Grill with lights (excellent condition)
New front bumper
Very nice roll bar
Great set of stock front seats with frames and newer”
