Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9600.
“1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A. Fully restored, turn key, runs and drives like new. rebuilt original flathead 4 cylinder “go devil” motor. rebuilt original 3 speed transmission and transfer case. Complete restore and painted finished 3 years ago. Color is Willys “Pasture Green”. Would prefere to sell outright, but would concider trades for, 100hp tractor, Harley, Old car, or?..”
There also is a M-170? for sale as well.
“1952 Jeep comes with under water kit for the intake and all original stock equipment including long range radio devices ,camp lighting set up, front machine gun mount for m16 , has a new motor only a few hundred miles on the motor , needs to be restored 20% and would be a priceless vehicle .

This sure seems like a good price. It has some CJ-2A parts.

three speed transmission with Dana 18 Transfer case. Body is original M38
with some CJ2a parts such as Hood and Windshield. 16″ wheels with 900×16
NDCC tires. New gas tank, New aftermarket front seats. Will not find a
better running Willys Jeep”

“I have for sale an early Willys CJ2A. No title, doesn’t run, but has a super nice body, frame, etc. plus a rarely seen factory metal top. These 2A’s usually have the body eaten up with rust, everywhere but the desert southwest, but this is an exception. Would like to sell it just like it sits, but would consider parting, depending on what you need.”

Sounds like there’s been lots of work on this.
“Runs great!! I have over 5k into this thing with receipts to prove it. Engine is a fresh rebuild. L134, new pistons, valves, 2 sleeves, valve guides, oil pump, electronic ignition, rebuilt carburetor, resealed transmission transfer case front and rear end. new brakes all around, seats, steering refresh(needs gearbox) tie rod ends, drag link. 2.5″ rancho suspension. modified rollbar and soft top. I’m forgetting a ton of upgrades or replacement parts. call to setup a time to check it out, $4000 OBO Text me, thanks.”

“Rare Army jeep with Willys frame and Ford GPW body. Just had the entire brake system redone. Runs and drives well. A great WWII military Jeep. Has a tow bar that can be easily removed and a 12 volt system.”
