Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Needs work.
“1946 jeep needs to be restored in a barn last 40 years. Has 12 volt system. No plow.Needs to be rewired New brake master but brakes or not working, new fuel pump. Runs but needs carb work. Body great shape little to no rot. 4 wheel drive. call for info. no trades no anything. ”
Ok, the jeep looks great and might just be worth the asking price. But, a full restoration (and I won’t even go there) was completed and it appeared in a magazine, yet the seller still thinks it is a 1952. I can only shake my head.
