Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Wish we could see more of the jeep. The Jockey Ridge Sand Dunes show here are the tallest sand dune system in the Eastern US. This area is now Jockey Ridge State Park. I’m guessin that driving over the sand dunes like the jeep below isn’t possible anymore?

“You are bidding on a 1950 Willys – Overland CJ3A trail vehicle, I have completely built this rig from the ground up, it has been taken down to the frame and had the following modifications: Ranco Spring Lift, Oversize rear brakes, roll cage, fiberglass body, custom bumbers, rebuilt 4 cylinder engine ( bored, honed, pistons, rings, valves & valve seats, gaskets, cam bearings, seals, ect.), new fuel lines & tank, rebuilt T90 transmission, rebuilt Spicer 18 transfer case, 34-9.50 super swampers on black spoke rims, power steering, 8000 lb winch, lincoln locker in the rear and many other items. I am part of a local club and can fequently go places that other rigs can’t begin make it!! Hate to let it go but my son and I are looking for a couple of four wheelers:-))
