About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Mark has this posted over at sellajeep. I do wish the brake handle and gauge edges hadn’t been painted.
“Same owner for 45 yrs. Original engine re-built. This looks like a nice rig. I’m surprised it wasn’t finished off with a full cage.

This is a little rough, but looks complete. Mark has it listed at warjeeps.com.
“Willys Jeep, model M38A1. She runs but needs a bit of body work. Been sitting for a while now and needs batteries but with a little love, this would be a perfect hunting partner. I do not have the specifics other than it was built in 1953, plus or minus a couple of years. $2,000.00 Mike 719-641-1957”
Apparently this includes a PTO, possibly a rear PTO.
“My Jeep is up for sale. Willys engine,( not year specific). The body is converted to 12 volts, but the engine is not. Generator not connected. Runs. has a power take off out the back with jack shaft and gear box( not installed) Trailer hitch is in the way of it. Spare Rolling chassis with hard top included. One matching title. Please respond to this email”

There are a few non stock issues, but it appears solid. It has the rear PTO too.
“12 volt conversion. Runs great. Original engine and air/oil filters. Has original factory installed live PTO option to run brush hog, sprayer, or water pump which is RARE! The flathead runs great and strong, the transmission shifts like new. Underneath this jeep is super solid, all crossmembers are solid and nice, the underside of the pan is very very nice. This was not a pan off but somewhere in it’s past I do believe it was–it definitely was babied. I did some basic maintenance to it, (oil, brakes, carb adjustment, etc) and proceded to make a jeep that was one to be used. I wanted something I could drive in a parade and then run to my favorite fishing hole in, not a show queen. The fact that this had the PTO just made it that much more special for me. This really is a great jeep and super nice driver. Has 16″ rims and tires have great tread, but do have some age cracks in them, nothing major just figured you should know.”
“Jeep Willys,” CJ-3A 1950, SO THAT IS WHAT THE TITLE SAYS. THIS IS A NICE WILLYS JEEP IM NOT AN EXPERT ON THIS BUT LOOKS LIKE ITS IN GOOD CONDITION , ENGINE RUNS AND HAS A CURRENT TEXAS STICKER AND CLEAR TITLE , I TOOK PICTURES SO U CAN SEE THE EXTERIOR CONDITION AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT, WILL BE SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRENTY, WHAT U SEE IS WHAT U GET THANKS FOR LOOKING.”
