About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1950 Willys Jeep. This vehicle is all original with the exception of the rims and the roll bar (the roll bar can be easily removed as it is bolted in). It has had a recent brake job and runs great. It burns no oil and goes down the road quite nicely. The body is very solid, there is no rust anywhere. It also includes a 6 foot plow and the original rims. ”
Check out the the bulges in the entry points on both the passenger and driver’s sides. Somehow the body or entire frame & body have been bent down in the center. Add to this strange issue is the claim this rig only has 17k miles or so. Then there are the modified steps and modified gas tank inlet. I’d run the other direction on this one.

“I have 2 1952 jeeps. [ 3000 for both ] They are W-38 -a1 –? …they have original 4 cylinder overhead valve engines [getting specs] ….sealed for under water … both have 23,000 miles….have titles and I am investigating the history…..they were Naval issue …with stainless steel original hard tops…have original wooden doors with original army green paint on inside….were purchased at a surplus auction in the sixtys, and used very little. Kept semi inside, these jeeps were green, then blue civil service color…they still have the remnents of the civil service stickers and #s on hoods…the one has a plate that says Edwards Airforce Base on front bumper …they have different types of info stickers on both …one inteior says commander vehicle ..these jeeps are in great condition, with one with minor corner spot. These are unrestored jeeps sealed with naval blue rustolium in good condition …both motors are free [ and i will post engine compresion on both ] – cleaning fuel systems now and both will be running shortly. They are complete down to the original air cleaners ..everything…even have the jerry cans for back of both.. Will post more info as I get it …email for any questions ….any offers appreiciated as well as any shared info. I am away working from sterling now but i am getting new brake seals , batterys and such to make them go next i go there these jeeps are original ruff but take good photo ..price is nego.. Thank you, Jeff.”
“Hurricane six cyclinder engine with low mileage (43,500). Always starts at any temperature and runs well. Comes with snow plow. Has spent the last 35 years taking care of 100 yard long driveway and a once-a-year five mile drive to town to get annual service. New muffler. New battery. Recent tune-up. Four wheel drive works well.”
“This is a 1940’s Willys MB Jeep for parts or restoration. The engine has been changed and is now a a 6 cylinder. We have a clear title for this. Call Chris at 406-278-3985.”
“A super neat rat rod project or for parts (no title). 6 cylindar manual transmission 4 wheel drive. email or call Brad (206) 715 7517 (cell) 0r (425) 844 6499 (res)”
It doesn’t quite run, but might not take much to get it to ‘running’.
“I have a great project vehicle for the right person-a 1966 Willy’s CJ5 Jeep. It needs a starter, clutch, and a gas tank. The body is a little rough, but fixable. It has a Dauntless V6 engine and has a clear title. It has been garage kept for the past three years. Take a look!”
(03/27/2011) This is pretty rough. I suspect it doesn’t run.
