About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willy’s Jeep Parts including:
Two engines with transmission and transfer case. Engines need rebuilding.
Two radiators.
Two sets of front and rear axles.”
“1959 Jeep Willys Wagon project vehicle. The body is pretty solid but is off the frame and on a dolly. It cannot be put back on the frame. Have title for it and extra parts. Bought it a few years ago and don’t have time for it.”
“1963 CJ3B excellent frame, good drive train, postal body, lifted, aluminium wheels, good tires, engine good but not running, need shop space. May trade for skid steer attachment”
“1955 Willys 4×4 Panel Truck. No motor but has transmission. NO TITLE. Restoration project or parts. Pretty complete otherwise. Sold with a Bill of Sale.”
“46 Willy’s jeep cj2a. Has a replacement steel body put on at some point,no real rust anywhere. Frame is solid as well,no rust holes anywhere. Has a 4.3 Chevy motor that runs very good, always starts right up. Has an electric fuel pump. Stock trans and transfer case, twin stick. One of the wheel cylinders has a slow leak so needs a little brake fluid once in a while. Seats needs attention, covers and foam, frames are good. The bad part is I don’t have a title or any paperwork at all and can’t get anything. Never been titled in Kentucky is what I was told. Got it from a farmer who’s had it for 30 + years and just used it on his property. Have some extra parts that could possibly go with it.”
“For parts only it has a mb body the frame is I think a cj5 not Shure of the year but it is one that came with the Buick odd fire… fenders, hood, grill, rollbar, towbar and other pictured parts. The body has some rust damage lower driver side and is rough but fixable. It’s on my trailer I could deliver within 100 mi for gas money.”
UPDATE: Thanks to Roger Martin for taking some pics at this auction. It looks like there were plenty of bidders on the jeeps. Roger reports there were nine jeeps auctioned. The prices varied from $380 to $2000. The green jeep below was won with a $2000 bid (which included an extra running engine!). 3 of the Jeeps had PTOs.
