About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Here’s a cool truck listed over at jeeptruck.com. The price is a bit up there though.
“1955 Willys truck and trailer. Beautiful piece of collection. Original, was used as firetruck in a small village in Quebec, Canada. Trailer comes with hoses and water pump (500 gallon/minute). It has skis for winter. One of a kind. It works still very well. Asking $35,000 I have pictures for it”
The seller claims this is a 1962 Maverick, but I understand they were only produced in 1960? Glenn believes this may just be an old inventory item that was sold the next year. He also notes the side chrome is very hard to find. It may be worth a closer look.
“This is a rare “maverick” edition. I bought it to restore but have too many projects. It does need total restoration but all parts and body panels available. It does run but smokes. Needs brake work but emergency brake works. 6cyl 3spd and its 2wd.”
(06/29/2011) I’m not sure what part of this is still a project?
“1947 Willys Jeep. Nice Project. Comes with new front end and new 283 Short block engine. Asking $2800

“Mostly orginal jeep in need of some work. The floors need replaced or fixed and the windshield chanel is rusty, but this jeep is worth fixing. It has a v6 buick engine which has 18,000 orginal miles. I strongly believe the miles are correct because i purchased it off the orginal owner. The gas tank has rust in it so u may be able to flush it or have to replace it don’t know. It’s four wheel drive an i thing it would be a blast to drive if fixed up. I just flat out have way to many projects on my hads, an it will be years before i reach this one thats why im selling. you can here the engine run briefly before it runs out of gas. Sorry about the last posting my computer went down right after i posted it. I want so of my money back out of it so i could say 1,500 or 1,200 and go down. But i just want to cut to the chase 1,000 obo This jeep is not driveable as of right now. It will need gone over. Please call only it you are serious thanks bill 440-339-4154”
“1953 willys flat fender, hard top. 26980 original miles. custom diamond plating. custom bumpers, cargo and tire rack. Newer bfg tires. Runs perfect. Mechanically sound. Full interior roll cage, and rocker bars. Have new 4.3L v-6 conversion motor that goes with it. Never had the heart to change it out as original motor runs so strong. Converted to 12v. Call caleb @ 208 704 1970”
Only $1500? That almost seems to good to be true, but I think this is real.
