About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: This appears to have sold. Was listed for $3500.
Restoration in process, but unclear if it runs or not.
“1943 Jeep Willys. Nice project that is half way to restoration. Dad started but I am unable to complete. Title listed as “flood damage” but I don’t know why.”
“1947 Willy’s Jeep with F-134 motor, 3spd, 8,000lb. winch, dual batteries, 6 BFG mudd terrain tires, 2 of them brand new. I do have original motor L-134 and spare transmission. The motor ran before I pulled it out, but does need rebuilt. Jeep also has spring over lift with no death wobble. Jeep comes with many spare parts. Runs great and has been fun!”
“So Heres the deal I have this willys jeep project I started years ago. The tub is fiberglass, stretched 15inches by a fiberglass shop. I have a roll cage that was built by a offroad shop in utah. the whole thing is mounted on a chevy fram with skid plates for the engne tranny and fuel tank. There is a cage in the engine bay tied into the main cage. Was set up with a SBC 350…. I will sell the body for 1700 OBO I have over 3500 in it already, on top of the glass work and extension I had diamond plate kickguards with step reinforcements built as well as aluminum Tread plate on the inside and a tread plate top rail. Would take 2500 OBO for the chassis body and cage. The rear bumper has a built in reciever and swinging tire carrier the front bumper has build in winch mount.”
There looks like value here. I”m guessing it is currently running off rather than on.
“All original 4 cylinder, has been running off and on for the last 10 years. Last problem was a fuel pump and haven’t tried to start it since. Has been in my family for over 40 years. Do not have title. Please call if you have any questions”
“A long family history with a short ending brings this ole Jeep for sale. Foregoing the story, this Jeep has been significantly worked over to restore and improve reliability, a show Jeep was never part of the plan.
Overview: Original 4 banger flat head engine overhaul (has about 50 miles since), transmission tune-up and seals, brakes, 12 volt conversion, frame mounts, wiring harness, paint top and bottom, and several other miscellaneous pieces, parts, and repairs. Pretty much stock bumper to bumper.
It runs well, rides and drives like the Jeep that it is. Considerably more invested than asking, clear title and yes, the Jeep can is part of the deal.”
“1948 Restored Willys Jeep. 350 Small block. Muncie Rock Crusher 4 speed. Great Condition. Our dad was a Willys Jeep enthusiast. He rebuilt 50+ Willys Jeeps in his lifetime. He rarely drove this jeep the past 10+ years due to health limitations. The jeep has always been stored in a garage. The top is like new and includes doors. The jeep has a full roll cage that is welded into the body. Comes with an extra windshield and a hood that has a hood scoop and stripes that match the striping on the jeep. The hydraulic clutch has a leak and the gas gauge doesn’t work. There are a few small chips around the door channels where you get in. Other than that the jeep is in fine running condition. A extremely nice vintage vehicle that will provide someone with a lot of fun.”
