“Type I. Original Henryk News Press Wire film measuring 4″ x 5″. This is a piece out of a collection from Henryk, former employee of the ACME and UPI News Service Office located in Chicago Tribune Towers. Henryk covered many events in Chicago and beyond during his days as Ace photographer for the news service. These images are absolutely very rare and are limited in number.”
Anyone know where this ad was published?
“Great ad that describes all the ways the Jeep has contributed to winning the war. “It’s the bayonet of retribution, It’s a clear eyed American soldier, It’s the answer to a silent prayer, It’s the President’s limousine, It’s a mechanical mule, It’s a fireball of power, It’s a peace loving America.” Has minor wear on right side corners and color fade in lower right corner. . This is a vintage original ad, not a copy or reproduction. Measures 10 and ¼ by 14 inches. Buyer pays 2.00 postage. International buyers welcome if they will pay exact postage to their country. See my other auctions for similar vintage ads.”

Josh has this rare combo for sale.
“You are bidding on an ORIGINAL INNER WINDSHIELD with original 1944 Factory marked GLASS for a WW2 WILLYS MB Jeep.
This is a very unique opportunity to own one of the rarest items you possibly could for a MB or GPW.
+Rarely are inner windshields not rusted out.
+Almost unheard of is two intact panes of factory glass with factory markings. These things were probably breaking since day one.
+ Unheard of is a inner windshield in this condition found separate of find of a once in a lifetime unrestored jeep find.
The windshield frame is in amazing condition with very little surface rust. I believe the original paint is intact below a layer of black paint that is flaking and chipping off in places.
Both panes are marked 5-44 and in good shape; no chips, no cracks, there are however a few scratches in the glass that are hard to capture in pictures but nothing that really directly impedes the view while driving or obnoxiously stands out too much.”
Looks like a nice truck.
