About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Just what it says. Old Jeep, not running, has a hard top on it, and Title says Jeep Willys, it has “Tuxedo Park” badges on the side of the hood. I found out later that this was a special edition and only about 8000 of these were ever sold. Hurricane 4 cyl, 3 on the tree, 4hi, lo, and 2wd transfer case. The frame is solid, but the body has some rust..”
This appears to be a MB/GPW body at the very least.

“1948 cj2a jeep the jeep does not have any breaks and the water pump is leaking but it does run and the transmission and t-case shifts like they should”
“This is a 1947 Jeep CJ-2a that has been extended about 18 inches and is sitting on an International Scout Frame. Good toy or hunting Jeep. Straight six engine and 3-speed manual transmission.”
(04/13/2011) How about that unusual hard top? This might be a good price given some work was just done on it.
“For sale we have our 1966 Jeep Willys CJ5. We bought this last fall to plow our office parking lot but with all the snow we had this year we realize it is just too small for our needs. We did a bunch of work to it to get it yard worthy and it is a great little plow truck. It has a 4 cylinder F-Head 134 ci engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. It is four wheel drive with Warn locking hubs and high and low range. It has a 6 foot manual angle plow on it. We also have soft doors for it which are not shown in the pictures.
It has four brand new BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires (size LT215/75R15)
New Master Cylinder and front brake lines
New Battery
We had the radiator dipped, painted and soldered to repair a leak
We’ve already done the work to get this truck up and running as a plow truck so here’s your chance to make it easy on yourself. The odometer shows 18k miles. We were told by the guy we purchased it from that this was originally owned by a utility company in Vermont, so the mileage could be accurate, however we are assuming it has rolled over. Jeep is sold with a bill of sale only. We have no title. It will need to be trailered or towed away, it is not roadworthy.”
It runs good, stops good it needs some cosmetic help.

Bob’s been busy with his camera this morning on what appears to be a beautiful Saturday in Mason. He reports that fun was had at a local Mongolian BBQ last night, keeping some of the folks busy until late.
