(01/23/2012) The body may be straight, but it looks like work has been done to the rear and to the passenger side.
“I have for sale a 1948 willy’s jeep. I am the second owner of this fine vehicle, The body is completly strait, At one time it was painted charcole grey poly metalic with hot pink pin striping. The sun has since faded it out, I have an extra roll bar, the orginal set of 6.50 16,s I have a set of 31-10 -50’s just for looks. I have an overdrive for it never was installed pieces may be missing. I have’nt driven it, for a many of years, It ran great when I parked it. I ‘m sure a lot of rubber hoses ect. must be replaced It was a great jeep, I hate to part with it, but it needs to go to someone who will fix it up to what it once was.”

It’s a 53 titled as a 56. We had a 56 body tub shipped from Indiana before the build.
Lots of new parts to include motor, gaskets, fuel tank and lines, fuel pump coil, dash, gauges, wiring harness, oil lines, condenser, tires, wheel bearings, steering assembly and a bunch more.
Everything works great, a little hesitation from the carb when cold, but other than that, vehicle runs great. Minor TLC just like any other older vehicle. Drove it every day last summer, just sits in storage now. I would be willing to entertain trades, looking for a 78-79 Ford Bronco XLT Ranger, must be mint. Have cash to put towards any trade.
