About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“iam selling a 1946 jeep willys. it is the cj2a, it was not milatary registered. it has the original 4 cylinder engine, and has high and low range gears. has a 3 speed standard trans. the body is pretty rough but the motor ran up until 2 weeks ago. i think a relay or the coil is bad. when it is running it dont stop. it needs brakes. the brake pedal is stuck. it would make a good hunting truck or just something to play in. if interested please call (479)692-3481 or you can txt (479)280-2466 ask for drake. serious offers only. please dont email me because i never check it and will not get back to you. thank you”
“I have a 1947 CJ-2A Willys Jeep for sale, engine runs great with L-134 Go-Devil flathead 4-cylinder engine. 6 volt system, has P.T.O attached to transfer case.”
This seller has sold several FCs over the past couple of years.
“This truck does need a lot. I’m told all of the brakes were gone through at a cost of over $500. Also it was running before the bed was removed.
The last guy was going to make his own dash so no dash. Good passenger door, small rust in the corners compared to most. Broken windshield.
This is a project. Clean title in my name. Set up in non op so no surprises on transfer. The price reflects condition. Priced to sell fast please don’t make offers. Bring a truck, trailer and cash. 818-203-970eight”
This is a project. It looks like the body has been patched together.
“I have a Kaiser-Willys 1965 CJ5 that is a project that is almost road worthy. Come have a look and make me an offer. $1200 OBO.
Has a running 4 cyl overhead “Hurricane” F-134 motor, T-90 3speed transmission, and Dana 18 transfer case.
The axles are a Dana 44 rear axle and Dana 27 front axle with original Warn lockers.
The jeep has a NEW clutch and NEW transmission (Has been installed –See Picture)
It has a NEW brake master cyclinder however the condition of brakes is unknown because the brake line is disconnected.
Original seats, but they are rough… I added padding and wrapped them with duct tape, intending to put a seat cover over them. They are usable but might want to have reupholsered.
The Original steel jeep rims are 16 inch, 5 x5.5 bolt pattern. Rims have been sandblasted, primed and painted gloss white
The Windshield in good shape with electric wiper motors instead of vacuum wipers. This was pulled from a ’72 jeep cause the orginal was rusted out.
The Floor boards in the process of being replaced, Rocker panels are also being replaced.
The Frame is in good shape having no rust through. Frame has been sandblasted and painted.
INcluded is a raggedy old soft top and soft doors, keeps the weather out, but nothing special to look at.
The Jeep has side mounted spare tire carrrier with full sized spare.
Tires are old and have cracks in them but hold air fine. I would replace them to go on the road.
NEW components include: starter solenoid, wires, spark plugs and fuel filter.
There is a stock heater and an after market 2nd heater is installed… dont know if they work.
This is great vintage jeep. Fix the brakes, tires and tail lights and you canbe on the road. It will be a fun little around town, parkway cuiser or trail jeep. Most of the major stuff has been done…. does need finishing to be drivable. I have an open NC title in hand.

(03/03/2011) This is the nicest Champ I’ve ever seen.
“UP4AUCTION hosted by Discover Classic Cars is very pleased to offer you this 1963 AUSTIN CHAMP JEEP! This a rather rare vehicle, these were the civilian versions of the British combat vehicles. This has 12,130 ACTUAL miles and will definitely cause heads to turn wherever you show up in it. This is not a daily driver and is not built for highway driving. Normal speed is roughly 30mph and its maximum speed is 60mph at 3,700rpm. This Champ will also ford to a depth of 1 foot 6 inches.
The temperature gauge is in-op presently, Red main indicator light is burned out and the hand brake is in need of an adjustment.
Finished in Maroon with Blue fenders, the exterior of this Austin shows well. There are a few blemishes in the paint, please view the photographs below or call us for additional details. The White vinyl removable soft top and doors are in very good condition. The Maroon vinyl seats are in good condition, there is minor wear present and a tear on the inside of the passenger seat. The carpeting also shows minor wear just so you’re aware. Please view all of the photographs below or call us for details….”
