About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500. Was ‘make offer’ previously.

“Up for sale is my 1950 willys CJ3A
Clean title in my name. first titled in 1950 so its never had the title lost or been retitled.
It currently runs and drives.
Nice strait frame and good running gear.
Nearly new wheels and tires no rot.
have brand new mech fuel pump and rebuild parts for the brake system.
body is a little banged up.
typical wavy bed area and fenders. nothing to bad though.
dash floors and tranny hump area are all in good shape.
its been sanded down and let sit awhile so its coated in surface rust.
needs the fuel tank cleaned out to be driven more then a few mins.
its a newer tank just has a bunch of crud in the tank.
I don’t need to sell this but i’m moving at the end of the month and it would be nice to have a few extra bucks on me.
If I don’t sell it I’ll just pull it along with me.
Only trades I would be interested in is a newer model KTM dirt bike. enduro style with head light and tail light. no MX bikes. 250+ 2-stroke or 400+ 4-stroke.
I bought a May 1975 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine, because it was cheap. I didn’t find anything interesting in it until stumbled across a picture of Jim Carter racing through mud on the last page. Jim and his wife Patti were long time friends of my parents and encouraged them to join the fledgling Wandering Willys Jeep Club. Those that have read my book might recognize the name.
For an unknown reason, JIm isn’t racing their jeep Otis, but someone else’s (or this photo is earlier than 1975). I do recognize that helmet though.
Don’t forget that the North/South Carolina Flat Fender Clubs will be holding a Meet on April 13th. The location is at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park, in Mt Pleasant SC. Time of meet is 8:30am until 4pm.
They are all original photographs purchased from the “HEAD PHOTOGRAPHER FOR TWIN COACH BUS COMPANY AND THE WILLYS JEEP FIRM IN TOLEDO OHIO ALL PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN BY HER WHILE WORKING FOR THESE COMPANIES”.
“100% Authentic Original SOVIET RUSSIAN WAR PHOTO SOVIET OFFICERS IN US MILITARY OFF ROAD CARS WILLYS PARADE KIEV UKRAINE 1945.
FROM PRIVATE COLLECTION.
SIZE 18 X 12 CM.
NOT POST WAR REPRINT.”
“1950 willys cj-3a flatfender jeep. Original 4 cyl hurricane motor, t-90 trans. Runs gd. Has extension on rear end and resembles cj-8. Dual gas tanks.”
“THE CONDITION IS CLOSE TO HOW THIS 47 WILLYS JEEP CJ-2 LOOKS IN THE PHOTO’S. IT IS FAR FROM A MUSEUM MODEL BUT IN A PARADE WITH SOME VETERANS RIDING IN IT, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE VERY PROUD AND PLEASED WITH OWNING IT. BY THE WAY, BE SURE TO PUT A COUPLE OF FLAGS ON IT. IT IS DECORATED TO SIMULATE A WORLD WAR 2 ARMY JEEP.
IT HAD A REBUILT ENGINE INSTALLED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER, IT RUNS GREAT. DRIVES GREAT AND IS JUST FUN JEEP TO DRIVE AROUND AND ENJOY THE LOOKS YOU WILL GET.
IT HAS BEEN REDONE 3 TIMES AND I THINK WE DONE A GOOD JOB. THE TIRES ARE LIKE NEW, THE HELMET GOES WITH, EVERYTHING IN THE PHOTO’S GO WITH IT. WE LEFT THE TRAILER HITCH ON BECAUSE IT IS REALLY WELL MOUNTED AND MIGHT BE HANDY FOR THE NEW OWNERS.”
