About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1943 FORD MILITARY JEEP
Great project…ran when parked…was driven regularly and then put in the barn..surface rust on floors…great rig for the right person…I bought this because of my love for ford and knew its past….have triangle tow hitch, folding top bows for holding up canvas(canvas included ,not in great shape…)rear seat other window frame and some additional parts…floors solid considering its age….
I wanted to have a fun summer ride…no time or space to complete this….if I don’t sell it is going to sandblaster, primer sealed and then off to the one mechanic I know will fix it right… Mike 503-422-3501 ”
(07/15/2009) There’s been some interesting choices on the customization of this CJ-3A. Note the gas filler location for example on the back.

Ori forwarded me this image take by Danny Koro during a visit to Cuba. You can see the ‘Willys’ stamp on the hood, which indicates the hood has been trimmed. It sure is unusual. You can see more info about the post here: http://www.carsforum.co.il/vb/showthread.php?t=372206
I spotted this image at several sites, but the largest version I found was at edinburghnapiernews.com. I’m gonna guess, based only on the building in the right corner, that this pile of vehicles is somewhere in Europe. Strangely, this image is used as a header image for an article on the importance of recycling and freecycling. And I think the image is supposed to reinforce the importance of recycling and the problems of waste. I believe the irony of the use of this photo with the article is that these vehicles were in fact piled as a first step in their recycling process (for their reuse in steel).

“Ford 302 engine runs good, running gear/4 wheel drive are working. Climbs and crawls like a goat with hiking boots. Needs brake cylinder at right front. It is currently registered and street legal. Remodeling the house and have no time or money for extra toys. Body is rough and many patches made to it…but hell it’s a jeep. $950 will take it. Will want to trailer it or drive it home in granny gear. Calling would be quickest way to reach me 530-258-1798. Rick”
