Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1965 jeep cj5. Lots of time and money into this jeep. 350 has been professionally built and is close to 600hp. Ross pistons, dart angle port heads, 3500 stall. new msd, new radiator, new paint and wrap. Inside has been bedlined to match. Recently bought scout dana 44 axle for this with disk brakes. This jeep screams. Ready for hill climbs, dunes, or muddin.”

“I have two of these trucks. One is a 1958 and the other a 1961. They both need total restoration. They are well optioned with long wheelbases (9ft beds), running boards, hurricane engine etc. The 1958 was a Forrest Service vehicle, original paint color was ‘Safety Green’. 1961 was intended to be a parts vehicle but they both can be restored. Clean title in hand. Emblems and black on yellow plates are in hand as well. There are many parts that go with these Jeeps. Take a look at the pics and let me know if this something you’d like to know more about.”

“L134 engine cranks but I never hooked up the new gas tank. 12v conversion, New starter, battery, fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, distributor, carb, fuel tank, as well as a bunch of other misc parts. Was planning on restoring but have too much else going on. Make me a reasonable offer. It’s an early production CJ3A.”

“I’m the third owner of this Willys. Solid body, rust free frame has been cleaned and painted, good seats, all new brake system, engine rebuilt with 140 miles. I have all the parts including two sets of wheels and a soft top, frame and doors. I will not sell parts.”

“29 tooth 6 spline warn overdrive model 33v6. I do not know if it is complete. This is exactly how I got it. I was going to send it to Herm in Washington for a rebuild. I have pictures of all the parts I have. Some may not even be for it ? All gears seem to be in decent shape, some surface rust and oxidization on housing inside. I needed a 26 tooth, so this one won’t work for me. I’m willing to ship, however due to weight it’s going to be about 45-50 bucks. Text is best”
