About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“for sale complete willys fiberglass body.
1 fiberglass tub
1 fiberglass hood
2 fiberglass fenders
steel grille
steel windsheild frame
the jeep frame in the picture is NOT for sale just the body.
the firewall is notched to fit a distributer, it was being built as a street rod.
there is also a hole cut in the floor for the steering column
the body is solid no cracks, the underbody is coated with a black plastic paint.”
“I have been piecing this jeep together for years and it’s time to let it go for moving reasons. It has a 52 frame with a buick 225 v6 engine, rebuilt transfer case and tranny, Dana 44 rear axle and a front 20 out of a 65 cj5 with a disc brake swap on the front. Frame has been blasted before and the leaf springs are new. The body is out of 47 cj and It has some minor surface rust and It will need to be sanded and some body work, fenders, hood, tail gate, windshield frame, MB grill and roll bar are in decent shape. It has a lot of new parts to finish it, H20 pump, fuel pump, windshield molding, best top bikini top, fuel tank, rancho 5000 shocks, wiring harness, headers, distributor, spare tire carrier, new spycer u-joints on driveshafts. Wheels had been painted before and the tires are 33’s Pro comp mud terrains w not a lot tread left. All the parts You see in the pics are included and it doesn’t need that many more to finish. It’s titled as a 52 willys and the tittle is an open title from Wisconsin. Too many hours and money on this project. This can be a solid foundation for a nice trail rig w an original look to take to the parades….”
The mini terra tires on this appear in pretty good shape.
“1948 Willys Military Jeep …Asking 4500.00..Its a steal for the price..
Its been modified to 12V from 6V..and it needs a tuneup..

Hate to let it go ..but necessity mandates it.”
“1955 M170 Jeep, All Original, Professionally Rebuilt Original Motor, 24V System, Runs Good, Minor Oil Leaks. Note: emails will not be answered as I’m selling for a friend. Please call the seller (818) 535-0090.”
(01/09/2011) Brett’s neighbor is selling this Willys. Brett reports that, ‘He never restored it but has always maintained it. It isn’t much to look at but runs great. The floors are shot and plated over and there is some body rust. But it is a good runner.’
“1953 M38-A1 Jeep. New tires, running well, completely rewired ~15 years ago. This is a Korean war era military jeep that is largely stock, strong original power-train, a great find for a complete military restore. This jeep has been a member of the family and now that it gets driven less I would hate to see it go to waste and ruin parked out side the house. Its needs a good home and I need the space.”
(03/07/2011) I think the top two and bottom left pics are of the jeep for sale. The lower right, I think, is of another jeep. Though titled as a CJ-3A, it appears to have a CJ-2A body. This includes overdrive and appears solid.
“I have a great start on a crawler resto build its titled as a 51 cj3a jeep. Come take a look, all sheetmetal is in great shape have a lot of parts to go with call to make a deal price is best offer. “FC-series trucks were produced through 1964, but never in large quantities, so that makes this baby a collectors item. More importantly it’s so FUN to drive!!! She looks great and runs even better!!!!!!!
The Jeep Forward Control (FC) is a truck that was produced by Willy’s and then Kaiser Jeep from 1956 to 1965. The design of the truck is also called a cab forward or better known as a cabover or COE for “cab over engine”.
This truck is easy to drive, feels safe and secure and the cab-forward design gives the driver great visibility and excellent maneuverability. They are very rare, very collectible vehicles……and this is a very rare opportunity……don’t miss out!!!”
