About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

It does have a plow as well but it dosen’t work presently. Good to fix up and drive or restore. Serious inquiries only please and as I said it’s got to go. $4,250.00 or best offer. Need more deatils contact me. Please no scammers, low ballers or tire kickers as I won’t waste your time so please don’t waste mine. It’s complete”
(03/13/2011) It isn’t completely original, but should make a good looking gpw with some restoration.
“How’s that for patina on an old jeep. You are bidding on a 1943 GPW that has been in the same family since the 50’s and the paint is probably that old as well. According to the mechanic who checked the vehicle it is in excellent running condition with great oil pressure. According to the little plate that I found in the jeep in was reconditioned in 1945 by a company in Oakland, California.
I’ll try and look for the tag to see what company did the reconditioning. I bought the jeep because of the condition and that old faded paint which is hard to find with the plan to put my GPW motor in it but I’ve found another vehicle so I’m putting this one back for sale. Although the engine is in great running condition it is a willys, I do however have a GPW motor (which needs to be rebuilt ) that I can put in the vehicle instead. For an extra $300 the winner can get the jeep with both engines. As can be seen in the engine bay pictures, it is pretty complete with the exception of the horn (F marked fuel filter, correct air cleaner etc.).
All gauges are present and appear to be original to the jeep. There is some rust in the hat channels. The different shade of green is due to the seat covers that protected the covered area over the years but it looks like if you sand the paint a little you could bring it back to life ( I tried that while looking for hood numbers). As with any vehicle that has been sitting for many years it will need some work to be road worthy. I don’t usually take trades but if you have any rare slat grill parts or early Ford GPW part, I will take them on trade as long as we agree on price before you bid. With a good tune up and new brakes and canvas, you can enjoy this jeep for many years before restoring it. As always I recommend that all interested parties do their research before bidding on the vehicle. Since I require a non refundable deposit, I also recommend that all interested parties come see the jeep in person before bidding to make sure it is what they want. I will except offer through ebay for our mutual protection. I will only end the auction early to end to the highest bidder once I’ve received a deposit. It’s very hard to find a jeep in good running condition for that price that you can start enjoying in very little time.”
