This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Military collectors take a look at a original 1945 Willys Jeep that my family has owned for over 30 years. This is a original unaltered Jeep that has the manual trans and 4 cylinder engine. I have the title so it is street drivable. It has been sitting in a covered area for a couple years and was running about a year ago. This Jeep would make a great resto project and it would take very little to get it running again. Once again I do have a title for it. I am located in south Charlotte. Hate to sell it but I don’t have the time to restore it and I hate to see it sitting and not being used as it should be”

“1951 Willys M-38 Jeep – All original, excellent condition. Good Denman tactical, tires, new brakes & batteries (24V). New fuel tank, new spark plugs & ignition harness; low miles (less than 80k?), runs great. I’m the third owner & I’ve had it for 28-years. Time for a new and enthusiastic owner to restore. $5600”

If you are looking for some vintage off road tires, check these out. I don’t know when that S pattern down the middle was added. The seller notes these are Mini-Terrors. They look slightly different than the ones featured in this ad. They look hardly used.

(01/12/2012) It appear solid. The front end looks a little soft on the passenger side.
“1942 Ford Jeep GPW 4 cyl – 200 miles on complete engine overhaul. 3 speed transmission , high speed gear ratio and azles. Good brakes . All guages work. Fresh radiator cleaning. 4 new 16″ non derectional tires 200 or less miles on them. Heater under passenger heat. Would make a easy complete valuable restoration…..very very nice.
