This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. With some paint and polish this might be a good truck.

Clear title for 1955 Willys pickup. 302 ford engine with C-4 ford transmission, tramsfer case, and axles. Body is original 1955 Willys pickup. Straight with no rust. Runs great, drives great. Original mileage unknown.”

This is a project with customer axles.
“This is a Willys Jeep I had got to finnish and do not have enough time to work on it, the jeep tub is fiberglass it is sitting on chevy 1/2 ton rears it has a 4.3 engine, The frame has been striped and painted the, trans low with a three speed it has two bucket seats I have been looking at the tubs and found they’re about $3,500 the one on this jeep has been cut around the fire wall not sure why it is a good project”

This appear solid. The seller believes this has a SN of 12325, but that would make this a 1946.

This was in a fire.
“Nice little Willys that was restored one point but was caught in a mild barn fire. Frame is great as well as the drivetrain and body is good but needs some attention in spots. The fire burnt the electrical, broke the glass and scorched the paint. I was going to keep it and fix the components to make it drive again and then not do anything to the body except clear coat the scorched paint. I’ve owned three of this year Willys and love them to drive and work on…super simple, open top 4×4 that draws attention anywhere! Comes with a bill of sale..no title, sorry. I will be listing this on eBay as well and taking it to the dog party if it hasn’t sold by then;)

This appears pretty stock, but does have a few updates.
“Great restoration project!!!!! I have replaced the brakes rewired most of the jeep, Jeep is road ready top speed 40-45 mph. Must see in person real nice jeep. I must sell not enough time to continue working on it. The 4×4 works has high and low range transmission is three speed. Willys has been changed over to 12volts new gauges except for speed odometer . $6,500.00 obo cash only. You can call me after 8:00 am and no later then 6:00 pm serious inquires only”

Ran like a champ until parked (after blown clutch) Parts are easily available to repair. Equipped with a Power Take Off. 59,800 original miles. Comes with original Tan soft top. ALL NUMBERS MATCH, frame, block and body…Low 5 digit serial #! This is a gem that can be worth 15-20k once restored 5-7k when street legal. Good project vehicle form the ground up or as a flip job to resell. Must pick up and trailer at your expense.”
