About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I am parting out two CJ-2a Willys Jeeps and have parts from other restorations. T-90 transmissions parts and engine parts like blocks, heads, oil pans. Have two good frames for CJ-2a a windshield frame for 3-A PTO parts, fenders for ’50 pick-up . Can also recondition parts if needed and/or total restoration of CJ-2, CJ-3, jeepster or Pick-up. Email questions or parts needs.”
“I have a 1942 Slat grill that I have been restoring over the past 3 years. I almost have a rolling chassis! I lost funding and space to work on this project. Project is in pieces. I have original motor, tranny, axles frame and tub. Serial number 9962.
The first 10000 WWII Jeeps had slat grills! Once the rolling chassis is complete, the whole jeep is worth 15K. A completely restored slatty is worth 25-35k. New shocks, new brakes, 1500 in new parts invested. Frame and axles recently sandblasted and painted correct non-luster od green. The only pieces to the body I do not have are the fenders.”
“I have many parts from 1950-1960 Willys Trucks and Wagons. I have too many parts and not enough space. I need the room to finish my restorations. Below is just a SMALL list of the parts I am looking to sell. I don’t have any set prices here since I am not looking to get rich, just need space. Make me an offer on the part(s) you want. Im flexible and fair.

As a five year old in 1944 Belgium, you can only imagine that Jean Luc’s experience with soliders, jeeps and planes left a indelible landmark upon his imagination. During his life as a successful illustrator, you can see him revisit that landmark many times over in his drawings. You can read a brief biography of Jean Luc here (click on the biography link) and view some of his amazing work.
Below is an image of Jean Luc’s 2010 Christmas Card. It features an image of him as a boy leaning up against ‘Toot Sweet”, his 1942 GPW which he still drives around the L.A. Area. Recently, Jean Luc got a taste of how few old jeeps are seen by kids these days. He was “driving my GPW the other day and some teenagers asked me if I built that “contraption” myself . . .” As he noted, “Not very encouraging but we can not blame them.”
Now ‘retired’, Jean Luc is working on a graphic novel about G.I.s, Jeeps and Piper Cubs in Paris in 1944-45. Below is an example of his drawing talent. Thanks for sharing!
