About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This might make a good project if the engine is ready for assembly. The Az weather has probably preserved the boy pretty well.
“great resto project. engine was machined by napa, needs to be assembled. seats need recovering. will make an awesome crawler or hunting jeep. have title on hand. call 928-627-2407 after 6pm. or email.”
This is a real nice rig with custom suspension and more. You can’t build it for that price. If I remember correctly, the previous owner sold it after building a new jeep. I believe the front end was stretched 12 inches as well. I remember that because I was curious about how far to stretch my front clip, so i saved an image of it, which you can see at the very bottom.

“I have a 1954 CJ3B jeep for sale. It is in parts, not a running jeep. Does not include motor, trans, or transfer case. I have two frames, the stock frame and a 1992 YJ rolling frame that I was going to install under this jeep. The body is not too bad, it has some rust through on the floor under the gas tank, it’s not very bad and very much so repairable. This would make a fun rebuild/restoration project or a parts jeep.”
Here’s an interesting find. This builder installed a Mercruiser 470 4 cyl aluminum engine into his project jeep. I’d never heard of doing this, so I did some research and found this thread on HAMB that provides all kinds of details about converting this boat motor to a vehicle motor. I’ve emailed the seller of this to learn more, as the motor is just the kind of strange thing I’d like to install into Biscuit if everything checks out.
“Too many projects, so this one has to go. It is a 1957 Willys CJ5. It has an aluminum block Mercruiser 470 4 cylinder motor and a 4spd transmission. It has a Dana 44 front axle and a Dana 60 rear axle. It comes with an original hard top with doors as well as a tow bar. The syncro for the reverse has gone out in it, but that is a fairly easy fix for anyone with some mechanical aptitude. It has a new battery and a fresh rebuilt Carter AFB carb. The tires shown are not the tires that come with it, as those are actually my brothers. Asking $1,500 but will consider reasonable offers. I just don’t have a place to finish it like I want to, so I’m looking for a good home for it. I have a clean and clear idaho title for it. ”
It looks good. Dana 60s seem a bit of an overkill for a Buick V6.
“Jeep “Custom” from the ground up! Dana 60s front and Rear, ARB Air Locker up front, Power Lock in rear High Pinion with 4:56 gears, 18 gallon heavy duty rear gas tank with bilt in skid plate, Spring over suspension, Buick 231 Even Fire V6, T98 Granny Gear 4 Speed, Dana 20 Transfercase with 3 to 1 gears and factory Twin Stick Shifters, Warn Winch, Goodyear MTR Wranger Tires 35 x 1250 X 15, Best Top New, Half Top and Doors, Matching Jeep Trailer, Lots of fun”
“For sale is one 47 CJ2 parts car,Rolling chassie no engine or trans-transfer case.Has wheels, axles, gauges, radiator, new half floors in front. Needs drive train ,brakes, inner windshield, wireing. $250.00 Cash”
This is still a project, but now sports a fiberglass body and rebuilt engine.
“1951 Willys for Sale. This Willys restoration is nearly finished and includes a FIBERGLASS BODY,, rebuilt engine and complete restoration. Includes original Willys flat head 4 cylinder and original drive train. The Willys is 4 wheel drive. (01/04/2011) This might be a nice rig for the price.
“this is a mostly orginal willys jeep, has been updated to 12V, has rebiult engine great heater and newly recovered seats, new soft top, new root beer brown purle paint, 32×11.50 tires. runs and drives great.”

Can start motor for now but getting ready to take it out. possible part trade for a electric winch with cash on your end not interested in any other trades. $800 for all VIA E-MAIL ( JEEP IS NOT FOR SALE)”
