The lowest price I found on the internet for Dan Posts’ “The Military Complete Jeep Book” was $95 on Amazon. The eBay price is at $34 at the moment.
Cool photo, but a bit pricey.

Six of these look in good condition, but the light green one appears to have paint scrapes. I like the picture though.

“This 1948 4WD Jeep Willy is a Patriotic Original. Original motor and drive train. It is a conversation piece and a lot of fun to drive. Parade ready!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Walter spotted this jeep. Seeing the pintle hitch on the back and the hooks on the left got me wondering what this was. Then it has small cutout on the hood. Finally, I spotted the CJV-35U-like bezels. This is worth checking out.
“Project Willis Jeep, motor and drive train components are all there. Body is in really good shape. Floor pans and frame have no salt water or up north rust.”

“Here is a 1948 Willys Jeep with a 6.5 foot plow. No Doors, no windshield, no roof. This is a great yard vehicle. Needs a brake job since they are not working right now. This is a great piece of Americana!! Original flathead 4 cylinder, three speed stick, one seat. Recent clutch and starter done”

This was used by a rural fire department.
“Up for auction is a very nice Willys M38A1 military Jeep. This is an excellent restoration prospect! I have had this one for a number of years and do not have the time to restore it, so I have put it on the market for an immediate sale. It is the second generation version without the hinged grill. It was used by a rural fire department, as you can see by the lettering. You can also see the remains of the original U.S. Army lettering, along with the hood number. There was no id plate with the other data plates, although all of the others are present. This is a true “barn find”, an although I have owned it for several years, it is still in its original condition that it was when I got it. It is unmolested and still has all of the 24 volt gear in place. The fire department did cut out the back panel, which can be easily found and replaced. It is so well done that it almost appears to be a M38A1C, but of course, does not have the correct windshield for that configuration. I am amazed at the solid floors, hat channels, etc. They are all in excellent condition. Take a close look at all of the pictures. This could be a candidate for a museum quality restoration! The two original front seat frames are present and in good condition. The original gas tank and its plumbing is there, but I have not attempted to use it. A very nice set of top bows comes with this Jeep. Nice original military wheels and Cooper military tires. The engine turns by hand, but again, I have not tried to start it. I would bet that it will start right up with a new set of batteries, fresh fuel supply.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
The 3B looks rough. I can’t tell much about the MB.
