About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The hardtop looks in great shape. It appears there’s another CJ-5 right next to it.
“Nice old CJ with a sweet running 283 chevy engine. Has a tow bar .. Will consider partial or full trades for 20 K generator 4×4 atv or things other than cars , pickups or SUVS. I have too many road vehicles already.”
There’s still a few things that need fixing. The pics are too blurry to assess condition.
“This A really nice 1949 Willys CJ-3A Jeep. I have done a lolt of work on this ol girl but she needs a little more. Nothing major and easy fixes. It needs the orig. gas tank, a tie rod end,and seat cushions. I have put a new master cylinder, points and cond. and changed all of the fluids. In additions I have painted it and had the inside spryed with bedliner material. I would love cash but would be interested in trading for old cars , trucks, or something fun. So give me a shout and let me know what you got.”
These are cool. I have no idea what they are worth.

(02/16/2010) It needs a little engine work, but looks great.
“1950 Jeepster off frame restoration done back in 1988, Jeepster runs but needs some engine work $6000.00 Firm, vehical is located in Mineola ,tx farm been garage keep for the past 12 years.”
“1946 CJ2A. Western vehicle, stored winters, very solid. Has three speed column shift. Comes with both aluminum hard and original soft top. Heater works. Jeep is blue, but original green paint shows in some locations. Third photo shows tool box floor – only surface rust, not rusted through like you find in many. Family owned for many years prior to my purchase. Starts and runs, stops fine. Shifting is a bit tricky and could use adjustment, but otherwise good to go. This was going to be a keeper, but unfortunately I need to sell. I’m pretty firm on price, but will entertain reasonable offers. Serious inquiries only please. I prefer if you contact me on my cell phone 608-212-3995 with questions.”
Pete, who operates the OldWillysForum, contacted me the other day to let me know he lives just down the road from me near Hailey, Idaho. When not working on cars, Pete designs beautiful homes. Check them out at andersonarc.com!
Pete and his kids have been doing some work on a wagon that they recently made road worthy. He shared a video with me that you can view below. It’s always great to see a wagon on the trail, but the best part of the video are the short, funny comments made by his son.
