About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Vintage Army Jeep Photograph Weird Prototype Tires

Rare
There is a reflection from my lights on the photograph”
“Over the past 70 plus years, this super clean little Jeep has only been owned by two families. The Jeep is in super clean condition. It runs and drives as it should. Its super fun!
What really sets this Jeep apart from the rest is the rear mounted Power Take Off unit. These were ordered by farmers back in the day to run Buzz Saws, Pumps, Generators etc. The system is complete and works!
The Jeep also has an original Willys heater system. All the lights, wipers, horn etc. work! The original flat four cylinder engine had a recent valve job and new carburetor installed.
Comes with an original Service Manual and a file an inch thick of years of receipts etc. Located in San Antonio, always kept indoors. Comes with a clear Texas title. Thanks for looking!!!!!”
“Classic and rare Jeep! Only 37k original miles! 4wd 4 speed! Inline 4 cylinder with 75hp. This thing is a head turner! Clean title! Aftermarket radio and speakers!”
“Price reduced from $975 to $775 to have this gone before I have to plow snow around it !…This is a vintage Empire tractor chassis built by the Empire Tractor Co. in New York after WWII. The Empire Tractor Co. decided to produce small farm tractors using readily available Willys Jeep engine, transmission and drivetrain parts from war surplus.
The tractor chassis is Serial Number 5826. It was built in Nov. 1947. This sale includes only what is shown in the pictures. You would need a Willys 134 cu. in. 4cyl. engine and transmission. The driveshaft is still there, as well as the rear axle. The PTO shaft and rear output is also included. The cowl and dash still has all the rare I.D. tags attached and legible.
This would be a good restoration project for someone who may already have a Willys drivetrain in an older, rusted out Jeep. This project would be a lot of work, but well worth it. I cannot physically do the type of work needed anymore, so I am offering it for sale.
We do have a forklift and loader tractor available to help with loading for the buyer.”
“958 Willys Jeep CJ5. Runs and drives. New shocks, tires, seats and all new electrical. Added electric fuel pump but carburetor still could use adjustment to get it to run a bit smoother. I’d love to keep it, but just don’t have the time to tinker with it. Title is in my name. $3500 obo”
The serial number indicates this is a 1950 CJ-3A. It’s unclear why the title lists it as a 1946. This has a Sears-branded Deluxe hardtop and EasyLok hubs.
“CJ3A – 48114- which by numbers is a 53 yet title says 46. Restore started – frame has been POR, engine was gone through. Body very solid. The tool box top is gone and this is worst corroded part of floor. Has heater and all trans/transfer case are there inside the cab. L 134 engine. Steering box is shot. Tub has a repair to outer panel under passenger door you can see some rivets in the pic. Hardtop is all aluminum the brown material you see is old insulation falling off. Some Floor panels I can Facetime video for a real full inspection.
Possibly delivery/ meet half way. If you have a Jeep/Willys I would consider some trade towards a 65-69 Jeep.
I also can offer possibly delivery or a half way meet up for a reasonable price.
More pictures available on request.
Clean open Kansas title.”
“If your looking at this add most likely you know a bit about these old jeeps and maybe even a bit about the Bantam trailer that goes with.
The Jeep runs but the transmission won’t go into gear, however it does roll so it’s not stuck in gear. It seems mostly original albeit some repairs done over the last 75 years. It needs attention at every point so it’s a good candidate for a restore I think. I’ve got a green title for it.
The trailer is an old Bantam with some repairs over the last 70+ years, new tires it appears but not title. Can issue a bill of sale if needed.
I’m keen to sell both as a combination but am willing to separate if one desires and the terms are agreeable.
If add is up I’ve got it, I’m wary of scammers.”
