About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willys. 1953 M38A1C. Have Title. Just passed the MA inspection. 24 Volt original system, new spark plugs, new batteries, canvas top, jerry can, 4 wheel drive, high/low all work great. Runs great. Bring a plate and drive this baby home.”
“Pleased to offer this 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2a that has been recently restored to a very high standard by a notable Jeep Restoration outfit here out West. Quality and attention to detail shows everywhere. Built from a solid California example, this Jeep retains all of It’s Factory Original Sheet Metal and Tub. Finished off in a beautiful Desert Tan with a fresh Black Vinyl Top, Side Curtains and Doors Kit. Very tasteful presentation without straying away from a Factory Original appearance. The Interior is nicely finished out as well.
“1946 Willys. Has a Ford 4 cylinder 2.3L Turbocharged engine that came out of a late 80’s Mustang SVO. I don’t know the mileage. The motor runs great but hasn’t ran in a few years. It’s a project I’ve owned for 5 years and I never got to it and now I need money more than a project. So even though it’s breaking my heart, it’s for sale. It has 1 seat, and no roll cage, the tires are still great and all hold air, they’re 33×12.50×15. The rears are worn down quite a bit more than the fronts because turbocharged burnouts. This thing is awesome and it sounds amazing. Definitely a head turner. Needs a battery and you’ll have to put the MAF back on because it was sitting on the battery so I took it off when the battery was pulled. Needs fresh gas. The front driveline needs a u-joint. It needs trailered. If you don’t have a truck just rent a trailer and I’ll deliver if you’re local. Willing to trade for a camp trailer. [hidden information] Cody. Bill of sale only. Last registered in Utah as OHV”
“For sale: Willys Jeep. No motor. T-90 / T-18. Good, solid frame. Driveline is complete and connected. The Jeep has been lifted approximately 4.” No title. No data plate. Sheet metal is real clean, largely rust-free. First $750.00 O.B.O. Trailers the jeep home. This is NOT a roller. The rear differential has an issue and the steering is not operational. There are brackets as shown on the jeep that will need to be physically cut off.”
“PRICE REDUCED MUST SELL TO PURCHASE HAY: For Sale or Trade for hay: 1951 Willys M-38. Rare front driven PTO to Koenig winch. Clear Texas Blue Title in my name. Excellent candidate for restoration. Has a non-running Buick even-fire V6 in it right now. Can come with the correct L134 flathead gear-driven ‘51 long block with Transmission and transfer case, and MANY spare parts for the right price. First $4350.00 OBO takes the M-38 as you see it. Rear tires are up in the photograph but they have gone flat. I can deliver. I can load the jeep on your trailer. I Will trade for fortified weed-free hay, delivered or I can pick up—anywhere.”
“1946? Willys jeep missing grille rad and passenger fender complete other than that been sitting for years as you can see. All original. No title honestly it’s pretty rough but could be restored or a lot of good hard to find parts. All the tags are on it yet. 1000 bucks come get it. Gonna pull it out and clean it up a little bit today and get more pictures”
“This is a 1951 willys jeep farm model, new gas pump, intake and exhaust manifold, water pump, distributor, spark plugs, steering wheel, among others. It has a added steering stabilizer and 29 inch tires. It runs and drives but over heats right now because it needs a fan shroud. The transfer case and transmission have been rebuilt. The frame and undercarriage have been ryno lined along with the body”
