Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 M38; while NOT restored this jeep is very solid; its been converted to 12 volt; has new steel tub; starts easy and runs well. Some parts such as seats not authentic. More photos available. Selling to buy a different military vehicle and hope it goes to a good home! $6,900. ”
Besides being lifted, the entrance area has been trimmed down.
“1947 Willys Jeep with original engine, transmission, transfer case, and axles. Jeep runs great and both high and low 4×4 works. Then engine does smoke a little bit, but no more than to be expected for ’47. This jeep will go anywhere a four wheeler will go. Has lockers in front and rear. Although there is no title. UPDATE: Well, I purchased this coloring book last month. Let me save you all some money by telling you that the only jeep in the entire book is the one on the front cover (and that one is obviously already colored)!! Oh well . . .

Since these are being sold from Norway, they may have originally been made there. They sure are unusual.
