Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale my jeep project Ibought from a friend of mine Idrove it in 2010 and wanted it really bad because it ran really good and everything workedand was in good shape.. one year later he pulled a dumbass move and took the body off to”fix” the little rust on it.. long story short he destroyed the body. Shortly after Icompleted a restoration on a 1946 cj-2a so Ithen aquired this body from it.. Ihave 1200 in it but it takes up too much space in my garage.. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500.
While appearing solid, this has several inaccurate details, such as the tail gate and the passenger side brackets. The intake hose for the carb is broken and the dash gauge panel has damage.

Walter spotted this unusual combo. With the right changes, this combo could work.
“For Sale: 1961 Willys Truck on three quarter ton Chevy chassis, four wheel drive, clear title. Runs and drives needs body work done but runs great. 350 cid Chevy engine, 400 transmission & goose neck ball in the bed as well as towing package underneath.This thing could pull the house down in 1st low gear or 2nd low gear.Will accept best offers but please be reasonable”

“1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A, Great restore project! Brakes are solid! Starts and runs! Rare half hard top! Has PTO, hand throttle, solid frame, beauttiful original Willys tailgate and windshield frame. Newly recored radiator, new hoses, much underhood restorations. Look at the pictures folks! Just need finishing touches!”

(05/26/2012) This has a rear PTO and appears solid, though needs some work.

Everything works. Just rebuilt starter, flushed gas tank and radiator. Original air filter, new hoses, clamps, plugs, plug wires, points,
belt , and fuel lines. Low miles. No highway miles. Registration paid through 2013. Ranch driven only. Newly re-covered seats. Ready for cosmetic
